Republicans Argue GOP Will Return to Bush Policies
There is no denying that is what the GOP is running on - return to the idiotic Bush policies that collapsed the economy. Rep Pete Sessions of TX admitted as much.
Republicans did such a fric'n good job causing this economic collapse, they are promising to continue this recession with everything they do and support.
Republicans have already reduced the standard of living in the US and intent on ruining this country.
Get real and kick out any Republican in office. Save America - dump the GOP.

BS, Jerry of NY
We have to blame the terrible policies of deregulation that Republicans and Bush have been pushing and that caused our economic collapse. Its really criminal that these clowns turned our economy in a casino, a rigged casino - no less. Look at Canada, they didn't have any of the problems because they have well regulated banks. Why bother asserting an opinion in a "politics and policy" if you are not against others' policies or defending others' policies. Unless you are just attacking people without a clue what their policies are.
You don't seem to understand that the banking crisis wasn't caused all the liars loans that deregulation allowed. If the problem was just personal mortgages this recession would have been over already. Commercial loans are 100 times worse problem and they are still killing banks regularly. The big problem was the devious packaging of bank derivatives made up of obviously bad loans that sank the economy. Derivatives and deregulation have turned the banking industry into casinos. The repeal of Glass-Stegeal was the worst offense in the deregulation of banks that have caused this economic collapse.
Sorry it is more complex than some simple slogans, so whenever someone blames democrats on Fannie and Freddie, it goes without saying that someone is completely ignorant and their opinion is based on nonsense. Worst yet I hear all these numbskulls complaining about the economy, but they were no where to be found when Congress was trying to reform the financial industry.

The blame is not the policy and the financial crisis was caused by the govt insisting on loans for people who didnt have enough money to pay it back. Whether you look left or right thats a fact. Fannie, and Freddie which were and still are under the control of govt covered loans they shouldnt have. This was all done by community organisers which truthfully is just another name for an instigator.
The policies were pushed by the left the banking collapse all comes as loans for homes were not repaid causing a melt down in the banks. Do democrats suggest that the uncaring republicans insisted that banks make loans to which the lender could not pay back. The new financial reform bill doesnt touch the two biggest contributers Fannie and Freddie.Get serious its socialist agendas thinking everyone should have the same as everyone else.
Thats never worked and will never work. Somepeople have it harder than others thats life you try to assist them. However you dont pick them up to where they have exactly everything its not faior to those who worked harder and took more responsibility. People need to stand on thier own 2 feet to get ahead the time for handouts is over.
Also causing the problem was the Unions the UAW was way out of line the contracts were unreasonable before Govt intervention. Since the Administration has taken over it has gotten worse. At this pace of unwarranted spending in a few years we will be grease
Then you can look back and thank you socialist agendas for the mess were in. . Leaves little to work for why strive to get ahead if you can just lay back. Its easier to be the guy working than the guy finding and supervising.
As far as the Wars go lets look at the facts Afghanistan was a no judgement call. Iraq maybe not however lets not forget. Before a President can declare or go to war the Congress had to give him the OK. They forget they had the same information as Bush. So before they cast blame they need to look at their voting record.
Im not a republican or Democrat but I cal it like it is.

After bush how could anyone ever vote republican again. He grew the government, grew the deficit, got us stuck in two unnecessary wars, and basically ignored any problems at home. Republicans always say one thing and do another. The republican party has become. Cult of stupidity.

Even Bush policies are way better that the failed ideals and policies of Karl Marx.

His lack of leadership and partisanship has worsened conditions in the USA and put the economy in the ditch. His buddy Soros helped create the economic crash in 2008!
Democrats and Obama have to be kicked out of office.

Can America survive? He may be the biggest jobs killer in American history. Blame is his thing not constructive action. HC was a disaster and America knows it. Fin Reg avoids Fannie & Freddie! Monetary Policy has shot its load and only extending the Dividend and Capital Gains Rates can help quickly. Extending Unemployment is a mixed metaphor now but failing to pay for it with corresponding budget cuts is absurd but typical of the Obama lead government!

it was shown sunday on "meet the press" when asked what SPECIFC things the g.o.p. would do to turn the economy around not one new idea just the same old thread bare rhetoric that they been pumping out for years.

Theis policy to obstruct any governance and divide Americans is a petty partisan tactic that is purely destructive and is nothing new.
Bottom line: Sessions and Cornyn have nothing to offer, except reactionary return to the crony GOP politics that caused the crash of '08 and our current 'Great Recession'.
