Where do you get Fox news says all Democrats are evil ? Ever watch MSNBC (My Secret National Barrack Channel). What part of Illegal do you not get ? Try to enter any other country illegally and see where it lands you. Three hikers may have entered Iran illegally and they have been in prison for more than a year.
Why do you promote illegal immigration, when there is no reason why these people cannot enter the US like other immigrants that do it legally. I guess that you do not believe in a lawful society. ILLEGAL is against the LAW, wise up !!!

I am surprised that New Mexico is not on that list. It's about a 50-50 split between legal and illegal Hispanics in this state with our state government aiding and abetting the illegal aliens.
It doesn't matter how many illegal aliens have stopped coming or have returned home. What matters is how many of them are left.
I don't have a problem with immigrants coming here to work "the jobs that Americans won't" (boy, is that phrase getting old!). They need to do it legally. The ones that come without permission are the ones that are getting government handouts, paid for by my taxes, which in my newest paycheck totaled more than I took home. This is one reason I want them gone.
The New Mexico school system is in total disarray and on the bottom of the list, just above Mississippi, due to having to spend so much time teaching in Spanish because these people refuse to learn English. They have no respect for the U.S., just what they can get out of the government. They have no intention of ever becoming American citizens.
When you walk into a store and see more signs in Spanish than in English, and have trouble understanding the clerks because their accent is atrocious, you wonder if you wandered into a foreign country without noticing, yet you KNOW you are in the U.S.

This is a complex issue, and I am torn over it. I was born in the US and grew up and went to private hs, college, and medical school here, but my parents were foreign diplomats so I was not a citizen by birth. I naturalized as an adult. As a diplobrat I loved the US, and lived in fear of my parents being posted "home" to my passport country. I was glad to be able to naturalize, and I did so legally as soon as I could. Now at this time, my closest friend is a former illegal immigrant. He came here as a 17 year old El Salvadorean, and lived in a tent while working 8 hours a day under the table for a dollar an hour for an auto repair shop, until his labor was worth enough for him to be paid minimum wage. He got two meals a day from a restaurant in lieu of wages, for working as a dishwasher four hours a day; he studied English and auto repair for another four hours a day, did well, became a citizen, and now owns his home, shop, and a few rental properties free and clear. He is a success story and an inspiration. BUT. A LEGAL american wouldn't have been hired by the auto shop or the restaurant, because what both companies were doing was ILLEGAL. Nobody paid taxes on anything. Nobdy paid social security. Much of his work is still under the table with his customers paying cash. His renters are illegals and pay in cash. Again, under the table. Much of his income goes to support his relatives in El Salvador. I admire him, but this skirting of our laws is killing our country, and the people who are most hurt are poorer, nonillegal residents and citizens of this country.

It is so funny to watch the same people who loved it when Bush pushed us into two wars that have not ended say Obama is the cause of all the trouble we are in. Face it people, we have a black man as president (no I am not black). He actually received his education due to his intelligence and not his daddy's money.
On the flip side, it is disturbing to watch cable news networks pit Americans against each other to get ratings. Fox News says all Democrats are evil and uses propaganda and religion to stir up the idiots on one side and and others do the same for the opposition. All the pawns just move when told.
Illegal immigrants are not the only cause to our joblessness. How come no one feels strongly enough about CEO salaries and Wall Street to trigger reform? The answer is simply that people are subconsciously pushed to move against parts of the general complaint against the government that still benefit, or do not disturb, the rich and powerful.
Sounds like a conspiracy theory, but advertisements have created brand loyalty in similar ways. I know if I was a billionaire, i would want the poor blue collar workers to unite against a common enemy, the even poorer illegals, so I could enjoy my wealth. I would want socialism to be a sin because it distributes wealth evenly instead of creating a hierarchy similar to the lords and kings of yesteryear.
The point is, we should stop blaming the illegals for our problems. The real problem are the rich people continue to subjugate the majority. We lost our jobs because someone, who makes more money in a year than most will make in their lifetimes, decided to take large risks. That is why we lost our homes, our paychecks, and, for some, our families. Put the blame on the right person.
As a secondary point, most Americans would not work for the same amount as illegals do. This makes everything more expensive for us. The guy cutting your grass would have to charge $300 instead of $150 so he can pay $10/hr to Americans instead of $5/hr or less to illegals. All food cost would go up as well. The same people that would benefit from the jobs would find that their money is worth less in terms of goods and services. If you are that worried about illegals taking your jobs, get educated and they won't be able to take them.
@ Ralph of Arizona: your use of Barrack Obama's middle name clearly indicates that you are racist. Why else would you care what his name is? It also shows that you participate in the splitting of our nation by following Fox News and their restless propaganda. Thanks for dividing my country!

now enforcement of Arizona's Illegal Alien Employer Sanctions Law, and soon the
enforcement of the new Arizona SB 1070 Law and about 20% of the outmigration of illegal aliens is the direct result of a major crackdown by Maricopa Count Sheriff Joe Arpiao and his MCSO as well. All States need to enact their own copies of Arizona's two laws SB 1070 and Illegal Alien Employer

Kind of like the newly minted fiscal conservatives who were totally silent while he-who-shall-not-be-named turned a surplus into a deficit, but started howling the moment President Obama was sworn in.

We now have the most evil, corrupt, lying government on the planet. What's worse we also have a media that gladly spews this lying propoganda as though it is the truth. All because they just love their "progressive" little darlings like Obama, Chris Dodd, Barney (the real hot dog) Frank, Dirty Harry Reid, Nasty Pelosi, etc., etc.
Do as I do, pray that God will replace these corrupt people with those that are more honest and want to serve their country rather than destroy it.

So this decline in the number of undocumented folks confirms that employment opportunities in the US is the magnet for their coming here. I agree with those who comment that the employers of the undocumented need to be targeted to reduce the number of these folks. Catch them (the employers) and fine the socks off of them. Make confirmation of employee legality (whether by a database or an ID card) obligatory. If my debit/credit card company can accurately track my spending anywhere on the planet, surely we can come up with an ID card which can be used to verify legal residence in the US. Of course, that requires political will ( I can hear the whining that asking folks to carry an ID card is onerous and a trampling of their rights). Just do it!

After 20 years of faithful military service, I think when I retire (soon) that I will move to the border and volunteer to provide security services to the private ranchers down there, free of charge of course. Hope my scopes maintain their zeros during the move.
