Democrats Struggle to Pass War Funding Bill

As the house and senate debate the issue it is clear enough to see agendas fly. Please tell me what teacher lay offs, and pell grants have to do with defense. Tell me how summer jobs programs which Ive seen first hand and consider a waiste of taxpayer dollars have to do with defense. It is time both parties stop adding expenses for agenda, and political reasons.

You use the stimulous you got dont push it on the defense dept. The arrogance of washington politicians to cram these items in a bill for war funding shows thier intent is not to add to the countries need to continue and finish.

Yowever it shows how little they care about the issue of people who serve thier country. Believe me I dont see politicians as public servants nor do they serve the public interest.

Union Teachers. Programs for City youths. Pell grants. All issues which belong in the trash until the economy has recovered. Thats right its spread the wealth and take care of the unions.

The whole country is not union, and thier is a reason Union membership has died off over the years. They are like Congress open to the highest bidder right are wrong who cares do less get more. Pay dues Ive done I waisted alot of money.

Make Congress stick to the point and vote on the Bill without the add ons. As much as I hate to say it do that or vote it down. The President will have to fund by Executive order. Wont be the first time besides it makes him feel important.
