It is a sad day for American spirit of free enterprise when we bail out the likes of Citibank and AIG for fiduciary irresponsibility, and both Republicans led by Bobby Jindal and Democrats led by the White House lynch mob a financially viable company like BP who is trying to reduce our dependence on foreign oil into coughing out $20 billion ransom note.

We are a country of laws, why cant we apply due process as we applied in the case of Exxon Valdez and let the system work its way through and let BP pay legitimate claims through the system.

HE'S DEVASTATED? MY HEART IS BLEEDING FOR HIM. WHAT ABOUT THE THOUSANDS OF FISH AND BIRDS THAT ARE BEING DESTROYED ON A DAILY BASIS? When will this ever end? This is the 21st century. Everyone is walking around with some sort of unimportant electronic device, but we don't have any bright engineers in this country who can figure out how to stop the oil from spewing out into our waters? What the hell did they go to college for? I am sickened daily by the pictures and we are totally helpless. I say let's take all the CEO's of BP and stuff them into the hole to try and stop the flow of oil. It may not help but it would sure make me feel good.
