What is beyond revolting is that, while we are facing the oil spill crisis, Obama and his comrades are busy using the crisis to push their cap and trade/carbon tax SCAM down our throats!
Rather than finding ways to solve the oil spill horrendous problems, they are busy finding ways to use those problems and the suffering they are creating to advance their SCAM!

Steffy: U.S. and BP slow to accept Dutch expertise
LOREN STEFFY
Houston Chronicle
June 8, 2010
"Three days after the explosion of the Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico, the Dutch government offered to help.
It was willing to provide ships outfitted with oil-skimming booms, and it proposed a plan for building sand barriers to protect sensitive marshlands.
The response from the Obama administration and BP, which are coordinating the cleanup: “The embassy got a nice letter from the administration that said, ‘Thanks, but no thanks,'” said Geert Visser, consul general for the Netherlands in Houston.
Now, almost seven weeks later, as the oil spewing from the battered well spreads across the Gulf and soils pristine beaches and coastline, BP and our government have reconsidered.
U.S. ships are being outfitted this week with four pairs of the skimming booms airlifted from the Netherlands and should be deployed within days. Each pair can process 5 million gallons of water a day, removing 20,000 tons of oil and sludge.
At that rate, how much more oil could have been removed from the Gulf during the past month?"
Cap and trade legislation is a scam. It always has been too. The only reason our President is pushing this legislation through is to distract Americans from seeing all his mishaps during the Oil spill. He's trying to politicize this accident when what he should be doing is taking up the Dutches offer to use their boes, which could have taken at least 20,000 gallons of the oil (in the first three days) out of the ocean and it could have continued to do so every day. Other private industries have offerred this to the President and he has turned this down. It's almost as if he wants this incident to get worse so that he can push through this Cap and Trade legislation that he as well as other Democrat members have been wanting to do for a long time now, but have gotten very little support from the general public. I'm sorry, I respect my President, but his actions during this spill have been really irresponsible. If we passed the Cap and Trade bill, another 1/6 of the private sectors wealth would adminstered into the government's hand. And they'd always have control over that money. Also, the bill will tax fossil and fuel companies, almost bankrupting this businesses. This would affect every area of life too. Farmers for example use fossil and fuel machinery to produce their crops. It is true that we have alternative green technology, but the problem with this is that the green technology can not produce the same mass amount of goods that fossil and fuel machinery can so farmers will lose out on money and it will affect the general public because they'll have to raise their prices to make up for the loss of goods they were unable to produce. This will effect every area-milk, poultry, fruits, vegetables even electricity as electricity runs on fossil fuel. This could potentially bankrupt the fossil fuel industry could would affect our over all industry production and our jobs imparticlarly with the middle class. Read up on the Industrial Revolution. Before the Industrial Revolution, there was the poor and the really rich and the rich had all the money. After the industrial revolution, the middle class was born, which shifted the wealth of the elitest into the average man's hands because they were able to accumulate their own wealth and pave out their own destinies. It is true that whoever holds the majority of the money, controls your country. That principle still rings true today. Please read up on the Industrial Revolution. What life was like before it and after it and why we do need our industry. It's directly linked with our middle class, which is the backbone of this country. Austraila was going to pass this bill a couple of years ago and many people were concerned that the bill was going to severely hurt the middle class, almost wiping them out...seriously. Research it. This is a scam. Please research this.

The Gulf Oil Spill will saturate the entire Gulf region and further weaken the Atlantic ecosystems of aquatic and flying creatures. Dead zones will expand in all oceans. Winds of every kind and magnitude will carry and mix toxins from sea levels to above mountain tops.
Global climate changes and temperatures will change their span. Survival safety nets will rupture and coexisting species will become unbalanced and endanger their compatibility. Their distorted symbiotic relationships will speed their demise.
World commerce will have major international setbacks. Hate will dominate fear of impending growing economic calamities. Killer instincts will billow in all creatures and survival instinct will cause massive ruthless slaughter on a global scale.
Out of necessities world leaders will form pseudo-alliances of “world peace”. But they will not quiet the anxieties of the masses. Necessities of life will increase at every level and anarchy will loom just below the level of human restraint.

What about utilizing the existing “solar panels” ? - Called “vegetation”.
What about utilizing existing “modes of clean transportation” ? - Called “legs”, “wings”, “fins”, “air chambers”, etc. to serve our needs at waking distance of flora and fauna husbandry.
What about utilizing existing “power generators” ? - Called “tides” and “wind” and “breeding” and “pollinating”.
May not be too profitable for greedy financial giants but great for all the “nobodies”.

Why not just stop the suppression of technology. look up new energy inventions and you will be shocked to see the collusion of government and big energy company's not allowing free energy that has not been allowed to hit the market. Most car company's have cars that get easily over 100 mpg on gas. wait thats to easy .

Gentlemen; present self-destruct path :
Environmental mismanagement will continue escalating on a global scale. Anger, hate and discord will fuel loss of universal control from the very top world leadership down to within family members.
Damage to this earth’s seasonal eco-cycle on this 8,000 miles diameter globe will continue to devastate the relatively balanced eco-systems, more frequently and much more profoundly. Relative exponential increase in polluting and consequential sickness and deaths of all types of life forms will mushroom quickly.
Living things can not eat technology nor drink liquids from technological byproducts, and live. Living things eat living things and drink complex organic filtered fluids. Increased desperation of living things will cause more ravenous hostility and neighbor killing neighbor will escalate out of control at all levels of life forms.

It's all about the RECs (renewable energy certificates) and FERC is about to steal all of them (NMPRC rule 572.13.c.1.b; NMPRC case 05-00352-UT). I was at the Science, Tech, and Telecom Committee yesterday (Monday, June 7, 2010; State Capital) and Dr. Daniel Fine from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology told the committee that Federal Law would preempt State Law in regards to renewable energy, and that the "revenue" was going towards deficit reduction. Existing [pv net-metered] participants would get an upfront check to satisfy
existing contracts. He seemed to imply that these events would occur before the end of JULY.
It would seem to be confirmed: RECs will soon become just an energy tax, not a currency. Investors will not be able to harvest RECs for their own investment interest; only the
utility and the government will be buying and selling RECs. The rest of us will simply pay the tax.
On Thursday, June 03, 2010, at the Re-Energize America conference held in Las Cruces, New Mexico I asked the following question to Matt Rogers (Senior Advisor to the Secretary of
Energy for the Recovery Act):
"Do you believe that third party ownership of commercial scale PV grid-tie systems in conjunction with open market trading of decoupled renewable energy certificates will drive electricity prices below current wholesale prices?"
Matt Rogers answered: "yes"
The fantastic picture I am describing is this: An investor (from a cold, dark state) pays to put a solar array on the rooftop of a local New Mexico business (lots of sun). He gives
the electricity to the business at discount (ppa; approaching FREE over time) and sells the RECs on an open auction. Lots of similar investors do the same, and soon the price of electricity falls for all. The state's economic development department now says to prospects: bring your company to New Mexico, we have cheap/free electricity. The effects are far greater if the owner of the generator owns the RECs. Current open market REC prices appear to be above 30 cents/kWh in the Northeast
http://www.srectrade.com/auctionhistory.php.
...but kiss that all goodbye. FERC is about to steal ALL the RECs and the only benefit you might receive is through a power purchase agreement whereby you fix your electric rate for a period of years, but have NO possibility of harvesting/benefiting from the RECs. Now, no economic growth potential exists, no investment-return, and the small renewable energy business owner soon becomes extinct; for it will only be through the utility company and the government (PACE?) that you will purchase and install solar arrays (or wind turbines). Remember, RECs are a currency if the owner of the generator owns the RECs (572.13.c.1.a); RECs are a tax if the utility
or government owns the RECs (NMPRC 572.13.c.1.b; PRC 05-00352-UT).
"Renewable Energy Certificates" implies asset and ownership.
