Jobs Are Number One Issue for Young Voters

Just to add, "informed" young voters will put some fiscal conservatives in power to create riper conditions for JOB GROWTH.

Otherwise, they will run their states into the ground, financially (just look at the sorry state of Illinois, hardly a bastion of solid good government and pro-growth, pro-business taxation policies).

Don't vote to bankrupt the state or the federal government (there are plenty of incumbents already doing just that, spending what's not there).

See http://www.gallup.org for info on public opinion. Hint: Most informed voters are fed up with incumbents.

Time for some real "change." Vote the bums out.

Seriously, does anyone really want a bunch of heavy "party school" drinkers showing up to vote, just for the sake of getting them involved? Do they actively follow public policy on a regular basis and truly understand the issues (not just based on soundbites)?

If young voters are clearly informed, they can do less harm at the polls, but please promote the idea of informed voters, not just "young" voters. Since when does lack of life experience qualify someone to be an informed and responsible voter?

Show up because you are informed, not just to feel like you have some sense of civic engagement.

That's the key. Young voters that are up on the issues, well informed, don't just push the party line ticket and don't fall for slogans as Hope and Change.

Please, I hope they take the time to look into the person, their history, agenda and then go out and vote for whatever party, just be informed..
