LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas Sen. Blanche Lincoln's campaign says she has more than $2 million in the bank as she fights for her political career in next month's runoff for the Democratic nomination.

Lincoln's campaign reported on Thursday that Lincoln raised $552,189 between April 29 and May 19. The incumbent senator spent three times that amount — more than $1.6 million — during the same period. [See which industries are giving the most money to Lincoln's campaign.]

Lincoln faces Lt. Gov. Bill Halter in the June 8 runoff. Halter has raised more than Lincoln in the past two fundraising periods, but his latest numbers were not available Thursday morning.

Thursday is the deadline for federal candidates to file their pre-runoff reports. Republicans have nominated Congressman John Boozman for Lincoln's seat. [See who is giving money to Boozman's campaign.]
