FEC Campaign Finance Filing Deadlines

All campaigns that raise or spend $5,000 must report their earnings to the Federal Election Commission. House and Senate campaign committees must file quarterly reports with the FEC and the Secretary of the Senate, respectively. National Party Committees must file monthly reports. Presidential campaign committees, Political Action Committees, and state, district, and local party committees can file quarterly or monthly. In an election year, each committee must file reports before and after the election. Here are the upcoming FEC quarterly and monthly deadlines:

2010 filing deadlines for House and Senate campaigns:

July Quarterly: July 15, 2010

October Quarterly: October 15, 2010

Pre-General: October 21, 2010

Post-General: December 2, 2010

Year-End: January 31, 2011

2010 filing deadlines for presidential campaigns, PAC's, and party committees:

May 20, 2010

June 20, 2010

July 20, 2010

August 20, 2010

September 20, 2010

October 20, 2010

Pre-General: October 21, 2010

Post-General: December 2, 2010

Year End 2010: January 31, 2011
