I always like to see someone correctly invoke real Christianity.

So much of what we hear from "churches" is Old Testament banter, as though Christ had never come and had never said anything to people at all.

DEMOCRATS SHOULD RESOUNDINGLY CALL THE REPUBLICAN BLUFF.

If indeed Republicans believe that by passing the health care bill, Democrats would be in serious political trouble in November, why are they standing the way—and fighting so hard to prevent its passage. THEY KNOW that their claim is bogus—and that if the bill passes, they are toast in November for not supporting it. When they cite public opposition to the bill, they don’t cite the overwhelming public support for most specifics in the bill. Neither they nor corporate-induced pollsters would tell you how much these polls are distorted by Democrats who also oppose the bill because it doesn’t go far enough and doesn’t have public option provisions. DEMOCRATS MUST ACT BOLDLY AND CONFIDENTLY: Then they Will Win. They must confront confidently REPUBLICAN PROPAGANDA, MISINFORMATION, PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE AND MIND-CONDITIONING GAME. Democrats must start telling Republicans to STOP threatening them, AND MUST START TELLING THE NATION WHY THE BILL IS IN ITS BEST INTEREST. They must call the Republican BLUFF. The sun is not going to set for Democrats in November—the world is not going to end in November. Republicans are in for a surprise—when their predictions fail to come through. Democrats must STOP THIS NONSENSE! They have hearts and have nothing to be ashamed of. This bill will make them winner when passed—and Republicans know it!!! IF REPUBLICANS ORGANIZE, DEMOCRATS MUST OUT-ORGANIZE THEM.

IT IS SAD THAT THE OPPONENTS TO THE HEALTH CARE BILL NEVER TALK ABOUT THE POSITIVE ONLY THE NEGETIVE.

EXAMPLE: THE FALSE STATEMENT " THE BILL RESULTS IN GOVERNMENT CONTROL OF HEALTH CARE". NEVER ABOUT THE BENEFITS IT WILL PROVIDE TO 31M UNINSURED OR THOSE WHO WILL LOSE HEALTH COVERAGE DUE TO PREVIOUS CONDITIONS.

THEY ALSO FORGET WHAT IS SAID IN THE GOOD BOOK," WHATEVER YOU DO FOR THE LEAST OF MY BRETHERAN YOU DO IT FOR ME".

AND THE SCARE TACTICS - " A VOTE FOR HEALTHCARE WILL LEAD TO YOUR DEFEAT IN THE NEXT ELECTION".

TOM COBURN & CO. ARE PRETENDERS, NOT CHRISTIANS.

They cultivate the image of holier than thou, but inside they are like a “whited sepulcher.” They may indeed be devil’s own! Let’s see. Christ, whom they say they follow, shows us a totally different example, so much so that if he returned to day, Coburn & Co. would not even recognize him. Christ spelt out the hypocrisy of such avowed followers when he pointed out that it is not those who shout loudest, Lord, Lord, that will enter the Kingdom. Action, attitude, actual behavior—that is the yardstick—not empty words. Coburn & Co., as made clear by the health care debate, lacks compassion for the poor and disadvantage. Remember what Christ said on this: “I was in prison and you visited me; I was naked and you clothed me; I was hungry and you gave me food.” Coburn and Co. are not people of peace. Their angry, hateful, threatening words convict them. They are not people of integrity, honesty and truth. See how they promote falsehood on health care and other matters. Note their penchant for cutting corners—e.g., the C-Street residence, the secrecy and the tax & financial advantage. They speak pompously even when they are wrong; they stir up division, and they are not peaceful humans. They are not peacemakers. And they look it—they look always angry, troubled and tense. They would in fact call Christ a “socialist” for helping the poor.
