Massa Resignation Complicated for Both Parties

Can you provide the names of the “Republicans who embraced Massa as a wronged darling of the anti-healthcare-reform movement”? How about naming just 5 or 10 of these Republicans? If you can’t, why don’t you try attacking real named people in your article instead of creating straw men? What about reports that Speaker Pelosi and other party leaders knew of Massa’s behavior and kept silent about it? You wouldn’t consider covering that side of the story just to give your piece a little more balance, would you? I have subscribed to US News over the years because, unlike Time or Newsweek, it was always a reliable source of independent, balanced information. I am disappointed that you have chosen to abandon what has ensured your continued success and survival.

In defense of Pigs I must take exception to the previous comment. Given the opportunity pigs are clean animals (feral pigs in Florida for example) Referring to Mr. Massa as a pig is an insult pigs everywhere. I would rate him somewhat lower than a slug.John

Of course the republicans want to try to crucify Pelosi. They're using this stupidity as a diversion in their campaign against health care.

Massa is a pig. That sort of behavior is common to both parties; Craig, Stevens, Vitters, and Ensign.

I can't understand why the Republicans can't focus and work to help the citizens of this country instead of throwing up roadblocks, whining and kvetching every step of the way actually they seem to consider that behavior to be part of their god given rights.

If they stopped worrying about people's sex live and did their jobs our country would be a better place, maybe but as long as their still here I doubt it.
