With all the analysis as to the reason for Brown's upset election victory in Massachusetts and its impact on upcoming elections, the current members of Congress, and the president what seems to have been overlooked is the pervasive attitude in Washington of arrogance and entitlement.
Case in point: Barbara ("Call-Me-Senator")Boxer's arrogant dressing-down of the Air Force general last year was despicable, rude and incredibly arrogant! And yet, she did not apologize - nor was she asked to do so or even chastised by her Congressional colleagues or the President. I think the vote in Massachusetts was as much about this attitude as any of the "issues". The voters aren't stupid, and I sense they are frustrated and fed-up with this nonsense. Until the Capitol Hill and WH denizens own up to their condescension to the "common folk" and change their ways, the voters will continue to vote them out of office when the opportunity arises.

All incumbents should be voted out of office in November. Americans would be "lucky" if at 10 members of Congress were honest and not "bought and paid for" by special interests. These crooks are ruining the financial well being of this country....maybe forever!!!

Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Obama and several others are proof that our system is dying. The operation of the House and Senate no longer works based on the action of the members to be representatives of those who elected them. The individuals mostly vote based on direction from their leadership(Harry and Nancy) or in accordance with bribes given them from OUR tax dollars. The system works as if the leaders were elected and the votes taken just represented the
preference of the states to have either a Democrat or Republican vote, no thought, no REPRESENTING the folks who voted.
If you take away the two leaders 533 PCs could do the job.

If you think Reid has trouble now, you ain't seen nothing yet.
Wait till the avalanche coming in Nov. 2010.
The elections will help to sink more Democrats than the 1994 elections.

In Nevada, just look for the flow of money and that's where you'll find "good" old Harry. He represents a tiny number of Nevadans who are extremely well-heeled...mostly in the entertainment industry (Casinos, hotels, etc). He DOES NOT represent average working Nevadans.
Harry Reed is a great example of what the great numbers of American voters can accomplish....let's have the courage to start over and, this time, do it right. VOTE THEM ALL OUT OF OFFICE.
Limit their terms so that there will never be a career politician again. If someone desires to serve in a public position, then they must run because they are motivated to perform service for our Nation (period).
There cannot be any one Senator or Congressman who is immune from being riffed. We must literally rip all of them out of their plush cushy chairs and start over.

Danny Tarkanian is THE LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE in this race and not Sue Lowden.

Incredible to believe, that Sen Harry Reid (D) Nevada said od then Sen Obama during the Campaign Presidential campaign: that he[Obama] has a a good chance of winning the presidency because Obama is "light-skinned" appearence and had no "negro dialect" unless he chose to use it; Double Standards, Indeed.
Had a Republican said this, the entire liberal base community would have been demanding for an immediate apology and their resignation, insane. Although am baffled because NO where in sight did we hear from the two Civil Rights scam artist: Jessy Jackson and Al Sharpen; Sen Trent Lott's remarks received immediate crucifiction; why the double standard, please explain Sen Reid? Of course, now you will hide behind the Senate veil which in the end will have more negative effect than fronting your demons; Mid-term elections are due Senator, and you and all your Democraqtic cronies will be seeking new jobs....just like the rest of your fellow citizens.
About Health care, I think is due time that American citizens have a system that takes care of them with a clear understanding of its cost and what it means to the tax-payers of the United States of America, period. The secrecy that Reid and his fellow Democrats have maintained is absolutely scary, and worse of all, these professional politicans think that their constituents are all "uneducated" folks who cannot understand their preplex Washington, DC insight; their intellect, amazing!
What we, the electorate understand is that this Health care will affect future generations of Americans, in wake of its National Debt - in the Trillions, unexceptable my distinguished members of Congress. Other matters that irritate /americans, is Obama's "treatment" of Islamic fundamentalist - extending them with "Miranda right" are you folks that out touch with these terrorist agenda; destruction of the "Greatest country in world"?

Karen Benzer probably shouldn't have posted her marching orders in such a brazen way. Does she not realize the depth of disdain most ordinary (read: legal voting) citizens feel for progressive groups, such as MoveOn.org or ACORN?
Alliances with activist groups or union thugs haven't helped ol' Harry too much thus far. What makes you think it will now?
Vote out all incumbents!

poor Harry Reid has obviously spent way too much time hanging out with Joe Biden . . . do these professional politians even engage their brains before they speak - or are they forever stuck in reverse
dear dear Senator Byrd doesn't even know where he is half the time - his aides do all the work for him
and Queen Pelosi has long since passed her pull date . . . her freezer burn is showing
truly there is enough dead wood in Washington on both sides of the aisle to supply fuel for Haiti for the foreseeable future

Sen. Reid made sure Nevada moves forward swiftly with installation of alternative energy programs. He has defended Nevada against more storage of nuclear waste. His remarks about Obama''s manner of speech is accurate. i think most of us recognize the difference between the way most whites and most blacks speak, and it's not "racism" to mention it. The British civil service system did pass to blacks the vocabulary and formal, dignified manner and inflection so easy to identify. It p[assed them to other ethnic groups who were part of the civil service system. AKCoyote is very rude in the remark about VD. It is off topic and shows lack of respect for the office of being a Senator. I admire Senator Reid and thank him for past achievemtnts that help the nation and his home state.
