Profiling could have prevented this.

My condolences to the family of the victims. He will have day of judgement and will be punished.

If the psychiatrist who shot so many at Fort Hood had no trouble getting the gun(s) he used, is it fair to ask why he had no trouble? Could it be that in America, it's more important to stop gays from getting married than it is to stop those who would misuse firearms from getting them? Could it be that in America, we get all worked up about taxes, healthcare reform, sex education in the schools, abortion, damage to the economy if we sign global warming pacts, and any number of other matters but do not get all worked up over the deaths of innocents by shooting daily?

Are all of us Americans complicit in those deaths because we get all worked up about other things but not about the deaths of innocents by shooting?

I personally don't want anyone in America at risk from death by shooting. I've spoken often about it, too. How about you?

The guy was a 'devout muslim'! There's your 'answer!

This shooting spree didn't just happen! did we learn anything? calling names, cursing, hate, all these don't guarantee a no next time dejavu! people need to wake up and start thinking! that's the unique thing God gave us.

Lets leave judgment to the almighty, lets use our gift from him to triumph against weaknesses and earthly old ways. wake up people.

Just look around you and in your own backyard peoples - I cried and had much anger that this happened - being that I have Militray family members - this F***** jerk had it all planned out- as they all always do - We are risking our men and women overseas when they (these Terrosists) are all here living next door to us- and then to hear he is alive- pull the plug and stop wasting my tax money to keep his ass alive - just shot him or give me a gun and I will shot him. Why Lord - why does not anyone listen !! These evil people are living among us already.

So sorry inverse or inbred ,whatever your on line name refers to -Howard is no nut-we have no reason to bestow trust in this stealthy conniving person with questionable lineage and associations.I for one, do not want a love child -the product of a married man with ties to Patrice Lumumba (Communist)that bonks a idealistic underage coed studying Russian (at the height of the Cold War)to claim to be my President. That might meet your standard for a leader -it is not mine.

This topic was off limits during the campaign and even considered racist, then right after the election Obama began referring to himself as barrack Hussein obama. He played us all for fools!!

Come on, guys. This guy (alledged shooter) is obviously a victim. I mean, he was called names and stuff, geesh, no wonder he had to defend himself. There needs to be an investigation of who was bullying him and they must be brought to justice! This poor fellow just needs a lttle compassion and a medical retirement so he can get some therapy to treat his damaged self-esteem. It is a good thing there aren't any more "sleeper" jihadists occupying positions of trust in the good ol' US of A. And by-the-way, what geinus figured out the excellent and very logical policy of insuring that soldiers are UNARMED as a matter of routine on military posts? Not like we would want to trust them with a gun now, would we?

Justin Case 1:24AM November 08, 2009

No, Howard of MN, no one is concerned about President Obama's Muslim background because he is not muslim.
