"Despite" or "Because of"?

He is a wuss always apologizing for America. Our enemies do not fear us any longer and will take advantage of us as the terrorists did during the Clinton adminstration.

Our European allies are ahead of us for calling for support of Afganistan.

This is just the "same O, same O" I can't believe anyone actually thought the Russians were going to take any action at all. They now clearly see the US as week and will do everything in their power to make us continue to look weak in the World's eyes and to make us use up resources so we wind up in the same finacial crisis that brought down the USSR.

Why would we have reason to expect a hand up from the Russians? This game started in the twentieth century , has you might say, gone into "extra innings".

USA foreign policy is hypocritical, asinine, stupid, ineffective, and so expensive it drains funds from real needs of society such as healthcare reform and fundamental restructuring necessary to strengthen the economy and bring jobs back. Iran has done nothing wrong and should continue its technological advancement and give the "west" the polite diplomatic three finger salute. Tewre is no crisis. There is no need for any action. There is no need for Iran to do anything different than they are doing. We need to be aware of our "patsy" president being sold on the historical USA dumbass foreign policies.

After being the only country in the history of mankind to have used nuclear weapons, hydrogen bombs, nerve gases and biological weapons, the US does not have the moral stands to be the judge of who is dangerous with nuclear weapons and who is not.

The US has over 400 billion dollars of military budget per year and when China passes 100 billion they are asked to explain what their intentions are??

Israel, an oppressive, occupying force and with an anti-human agenda has over 100 nuclear warheads and they are constantly beating the war drums on Iranian peaceful nuclear technology.

In exchange Iran has never invaded any country or ever used any weapons of mass destruction when Iraq attacked iran backed by US biological and chemical warfare technology.

Who is to judge Iran's actions?????

Enough is enough.

Mel of NC 11:37PM October 26, 2009

U.S. wars and occupations from Vietnam to Iraq and Afghanistan have never brought democracy or human rights. They have brought only oppressive military dictatorships, massive refugee crises, torture and millions of deaths.

Also, we cannot forget that it is U.S. troops, military equipment, and bases that keep corrupt feudal anti-woman monarchies in power in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan, as well as the brutal dictatorship in Egypt.

The hypocrisy of U.S. politicians is staggering, as they condemn the actions of the Iranian government while sweeping their own crimes under the rug. Iran’s disputes are an internal matter, to be resolved by the Iranian people and not the governments of imperialist countries with agendas of dominating Iran and a track record of using internal issues to justify military invasion.
