ME, I BELIEVE IN OBAMA'S CHANGE AND HE IS THE ANSWER TO THE ECONOMY OF WORLD
EMMANUELof AL6:43AM April 07, 2009
everyone is worried about obama, and how is trying to bring the economy back to what it used to be. keep in mind, that he cant do it alone. change must come from the source. And where is that you must say?? Hmm. lets think. YOURSELF. Obama is not the olny american in this country, and someone have to help him out. im a student (junior) in high school, and it is sad that sometimes we fail to acknowledge the mishaps that we make. obama cannot do it alone. some people critize him one what he's doing like "he's tring to look good for the camera." to be completely honest, i really dont care how he looks. im just worried about my future, and how it is going to end up because of the economy. when i have my first child, i worry for him or her about their future. this recession is one of the worst ones ever, and we all mut put in our fair share of help so the united states can get back in the place we were before. number one. its by time we take respondsibility for our actions, and step up to the plate. dont be offended. this is just my opinion, and nothing that im saying is law. this is a true confession of a life learned lesson that i was sent here to share with you all. if everyone put contribute to "change", then we (the united states), would be out of this recession so fast, you wouldn't even believe it. well its my time to leave because im still in school, and i have to get back with my work. i just wanted to say that.

Every news I read is filled with negative comments about Obama and people demanding the so promised change. Is like they've been brain washed and totally forgot the past 8 years. He's gotten into a situation that is pretty much impossible to solve. We have to remember that he didn't make that happen. He's trying to do whatever possible to change the course of the country. Common! If it took Bush 8 devastating years of sucking up our pockets and overspending in war, don't expect Obama to solve it in a couple of month. Think about it realistically and with common sense and you'll see that none of the people that ran for presidency nor any other president from the past would've been able to solve this.
This is something that is going to take time in term of years. People need to stop the whining. Is counterproductive and it doesn't solve anything. Just try to concentrate on being positive no matter what. Stop the verbal violence and narrow thinking. You're not getting anything out of making a stupid point or seeking verbal vengeance over every little step the president takes. Look at the past and see that you've never been in charge of the country. Remember "The Decider". What makes you think It'll be different this time.
At least this president is doing something different. That's why people don't like him. That's why you don't like him. Because you were looking for "magical" change. He's going for different ideas. The truth is that a lot of people don't like change, period, and some other are not willing to go through what's necesary to obtain a change. This country has had it way worst before. The only difference, I guess, is that people were more reality oriented and not so much luxury oriented.
Is the people that need to change. We are the country. We have to lead it. We only have one person that represents us. But is our daily attitude that's really bringing this country down.
If you want change, change yourself.

everyone was like obama represents "change" but the only change i see is our economy slowly slipping deeper and deeeper into a recession... i see the stock markets crashing and people struggling to pay their bills is this the kind of change that we want??? obama needs to stop making sure that he looks awesome on tv cuz i for one dont really care how he looks, and get working on our economic situation and how to fix it without sending our country into an even worse recession!!!!!!!!if he cant change our country for the better then maybe we should find someone who can!!!!

"People" magazine, "Entertainment Tonight", reality TV where anyone can be famous, YouTube, Twitter, and on and on. We are obsessed with celebrity. We are shallow, self-absorbed, and easily entertained by the most mindless drivel from even C-list celebs.
And here now, our President, The First Celebrity. We watch him doing shtick on Leno, wait breathlessly for his bracket picks on ESPN, see him wax thoughtfully for the serious folks at "60 Minutes", he text messages the beautiful people in Hollywood, and vogues court side at the Wizards / Bulls game with beer in hand.
No complaining, ladies and gentleman, because we have the President we deserve.

It's entertaining to see our vibrant President on television in lighter contexts, however the American public is concerned about their very serious economic problems - and uncertainties that lead to fear and paralysis. Perhaps President Obama could help to build up the public's confidence when he's on a show - and let people know that he's never more than a phone call away from any of his economic and national security teams - on a secure scrambled phone. That way, we all know he's always on his job and not just out for a good time and some laughs (on us).

What a shame! Wake up Obama. We are in the middle of a major economic CRISES, our young men and women are DYING in combat, and we have the worst UNEMPLOYMENT in decades with analysts constantly telling us it will only get worse...Of course, I don't expect an instant fix but please have some dignity and at least attempt to be presidential...Wasting precious time on Jay Leno; giggling throughout the interview didn't impress me much...Yes, you look great on TV, Yes, you are charming and articulate, and I love Jay, but please get over your arrogant self and get on with restoring our country to some respectable form of greatness! Than spend all the time you want patting yourself on the back and staring at the mirror admiring yourself.
My opinion is this man is all "smoke and mirrors."
P.S. Seems like you dodged an important question! I'm still waiting for the you to answer the reporter's question about the AIG contribution to your presidential campaign...Doesn't feel good when YOU ARE in the hot seat!

The San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center for the Developmentally Disabled and the other 21 Regional Centers have reduced 3% of the money allocated to Residential Care Providers that started February, 2009.They should have slashed it from the Officials salary who are just sitting in their luxurious decorated offices and doing nothing. Somebody should put them under a microscope- these individuals, to justify their salary based on what they are doing to elevate the welfare of our unfortunate brethren.
It is sad and heart wrenching for us that needs all the money to provide real care for our less fortunate brethren that cannot exist on their own if left by themselves. I just donot understand the logic for two agencies that have the same objectives of caring for handicapped individuals namely the Community Care Licensing of the Department of Social Services created under Title 21 and San Gabriel Pomona Regional Centers under the Department of Developmental Services - created by Title 17. Too much bureacracy and financial waste. They agree to disagree on same areas of responsibilities. Please help us find a way to streamlined and fine tune the budget allocated to these agencies if they cannot be totally dissolved and merge into one smooth operating agency, so that the final recipient of the hard earned money be allocated to the careproviders to maintain their sanity and continue their vocation to care for the developmentally disabled individuals. Bless your heart whoever you are if you can make a differenceto alleviate our plight as well as those we care for.

Obama is showing us how to implode..did anyone read or hear about the OBM report? 9 trillion over 10 years..you have to be kidding...

Why is it there was less outrage for spending trillions on an illegal war? The deficit Obama inherited was just the tip of the iceburg of problems that the previous administration and majority party dumped on the American taxpayer. I, for one, am sick of hearing Republican politicians bad-mouth the plan in favor of their preference to revert back to the same practices that put us in this unholy mess in the first place. The only citizens that woulld benefit are the very wealthy and that seems to be the pocket they are in. I am all for following Obama down this road. My neighbors and I want to see people getting jobs and keeping their homes! Iam so thankful every day that I still have a job to go to and a roof over my(our) head(s). I believe this man, Obama, is extremely intelligent and resourceful. A listener and a real thinker and problem solver. I've never seen anyone like him, he works so hard for all of us in the middle and lower classes. I trust his judgement and the economic plan he has set up. Check it out for yourself - don't listen to the ney-sayers that have no facts or that are only intersted in sabatoging the plan. Believe me, those folks are only playing politics at our expense in order to pad their own wallets for the day they are out of office and looking to sit as a CEO for one of the billionaires that financed their campains the last time they ran for office.
