Steele should be embarassed.
He should have handed Rush a heaping bowl of STFU. People LIKE LIMBAUGH are killing the republican party with their hate-mongering ignorant spew all over the airwaves. The fact that Steele even insinuated that Limbaugh was a party leader of some sort is appalling. Limbaugh is not an elected official, he has no say in policy, and should be ignored by the Republicans if they want to be at all popular with the American people ever again. The Neo-Cons in the party blew it for them, and they need to move towards the center again if they ever want to have a say.
Everyone who switched to the Democratic ticket in November did so because they were tired of the bigotry, fear-mongering, and slander associated with the right wing. Now the right is paying for it.
You have OBVIOUSLY never listened to Limbaugh. I feel sorry for you. You talk about things which you obviously refuse to actually learn about. You're exactly like someone who would only read the title or a few lines of an article and insinuate what it's about instead of reading and comprehending the entire thing. I CHALLENGE YOU to listen to Limbaugh for 1 month... Then again, you'll probably just listen to a couple 30 second segments and say you listened to the entire show, just like you would a news article. That's the problem with so many Americans today. They speak about things they know nothing about. Limbaugh is FAR from a racist and bigot. Do I agree with him on everything? No. Will you? Probably not. But when you don't even give someone a chance and just repeat what other, hateful, people say about him, you prove yourself to be a fool. Are you a fool? Is that how you want people to think of you? Better yet, is that how you want to think of yourself? Go ahead and look in the mirror and tell yourself you've given Limbaugh a fair shake... I dare you.

I see that the only change in the new face of the Republican Party is that it is painted black. The old boy network is still in control. The only reason that Steele was elected was so they could go after Obama and avoid cries of racism. Now, I'm not against blacks being in the republican party, (we are just as diverse as whites), and our affiliations should reflect that. What I dislike is when those blacks allow these messages steeped with hidden racism to flourish unchallanged. They seek to belong so bad that they forget who they are. Obama's election to presidency has opened the door for many other blacks to seats of power, but do they really have control? In my life, for example, I've held many supervisory positions, but it always seems that when I get them the job description changes to a working supervisor position. Every supervisor before me worked from behind a desk, I always had to work on the floor. I see the same thing happening here, because many whites refuse to take orders from blacks. You may notice that I don't use the term African American. That's because, according to genetic proof, EVERYONE in America is African American.

I love seeing the right wing monster begin to feed on itself. They've wrecked the economy and the nation as bad as they can, so now they turn on themselves! Limbaugh a big fat drug addict. You folks please keep supporting such clowns as O'Reiley Palin, and all the other dim wits and criminals....

Too bad Michael Steele didn't have the guts to stick with his statement. Rush is a blowhard who craves attention and frankly, I think it is embarrassing that Americans give him so much of it. As for the Republican party, I think it is eating its young. I don't see how it can stave off a major implosion. I am encouraged by moderate Republicans who put the good of the country over political pandering. Still, I fear the old, fearful, ignorant, white men have a stranglehold on this party that all the Michael Steele's in the world won't be able to shake.

Wh-wh-what? I just got the biggest laugh. What news show have you been watching? Let me break it down in Lamens terms...
It was OBAMA that made the orders for the multiple helicopters totaling 11 million. He was just called out on it LAST WEEK. Get your facts straight.
Two weeks ago, OBAMA borrowed $787 billion from communist China. The current total of our nation's deficit before then wasn't even that much, and in 1 month OBAMA more than doubled it.
Sewer systems...are you getting new sewer systems? Are the toilets overflowing in Wash DC or are we pampering the politicians? Repairing sewer systems FOR WASH DC is listed in the stimulus package. Not rebuilding for every city.
Let's talk about the war in Iraq...Let's not forget that ALMOST EVERY AMERICAN wanted retaliation for 9/11. The majority wanted to go to war. Oh, but now the democrats are saying "well, Bush ran up the deficit". Not only does that make those people morons, but hypocrits as well. Remember, the majority wanted it...and apparently someone else to blame.
To think that Republicans haven't come up with a solution? That's the funniest thing I've heard. Turn on your TV and watch Congress in action. Republicans are coming up with solutions everyday. Just none that personally benefit the democrats. Obama is a joke.

Let's NOT forget what the market is doing right now. OBAMA's market. Nose-dive!!!!!! Bush(R) didn't make a 12 year low, Clinton(D) didn't make a 12 year low. But OBAMA has. The real lead in our economy, i.e. Wall Street, doesn't have faith in our joke of a President. That might be why the DowJones is at 1997 rates. It didn't make that kind of nose dive in Bush's administration. Good job Obama.

J.S. Swart, you "endorse" Rush Limbaugh? What is it with you people? You're so incredibly out of touch with reality, and so caught up in your spam-sucking reality-tv/talk-radio world, you think it's your place to "endorse" a man who isn't running for political office, even if your opinion counted for anything? Which it doesn't.
I wish Steele's apology to this fat, bloated, shock-jock clown Limbaugh WAS insincere. As it stands now, Limbaugh WAS out of line, but watching Steele do his step-and-fetch apology is ugly in the extreme. This is why you people lost the election, cluelessness, cowardice, and ignorance. America is sick of you.

I cannot believe that Steele applied the word "entertainer" to Rush. I would like Steele to know that I, as a Conservative fully endorse Rush and ALL of his opinions. If Steele doesn't like that, he needs to step down and allow a TRUE Conservative to take over the position. What he (Steele) has done is outrageous. And his "apology" is insincere.
