Under Meg Whitman, eBay and PayPal benefited more from on-line fraud than any other Company in the World.

What will she do for California's reputation if she is let loose there?

I am a tourist. I am from Tampa Florida. I am pulling a 40 foot trailer. I want to stop at every store and tourist attraction in the state. So far, I traveled from Las Vegas to Barstow Ca. I stayed there two weeks and spent a couple thousand dollars. I then traveled to Chula Vista Resort. I stayed for two weeks. Spent over a grand. I then traveled North on Interstate 5. I cut over to 101. Then stayed a week at Camp Comfort. I tried to go to the Beach. There, I discovered Main Street, Ventura. What a grand little tourist town. I bought about $300 in souveneurs. I stopped at surfers beach and took pictures standing in the ocean. Then, after dinner,I traveled North and found a little town off the beaten track. I ditched my trailer and traveled to San Jose and then on to the Golden Gate Bridge. I would have spent around $20,000 by now, except the roads are a nightmare. No signs, no mention of little streets like Main street in Ventura. I was scared to death to pull off some where and not be able to find Diesel Gas, a place to park, attractions to see. Even, you Californians just travel 70 miles an hour, scared to stop in your own towns for fear of blocked highways. Traffic jams. I'll bet, even the Cal. people don't know, where their own attractions are. All cities need small non electric signs telling everyone, what's in your communities. All businesses would get more work. All citizens would find jobs. Taxes would be collected, because more people would stop at businesses and attractions. I don't mean to speak for Californians, but I see you going seventy miles an hour. Right passed everything on your way to and from work. I'm telling you your state has more things to look at than any other state in the union. Please tell me as I'm driving, where they are. I want to spent money. Every attraction is not on every map.

We don't want Meg Whitman! She will do what Republicans always do: give corporations big tax cuts, then slash education spending and then borrow money to make sure we are too saddled with debt to fund education ever again.

Republicans want INEQUALITY.

Whitman will not win because we don't want California to fall off the map. Republicans not welcome here!

You have to be kidding if you think Meg Whitman has integrity and honor. She has insulted the very people who helped make ebay what it was. I am trying to get away from ebay because of the things she did to insult me as a seller. The lies they propogate about user problems that are only beificial to ebay. The lates is that you cannot accept money orders or cash as payment. That is so they can channel you through their money machine Paypal and make more money with theri greedy and insulting ways of business. If you thin that is integrity than you must be somoking pot!

This woman ruined the whole philosophy on what ebay was started. She brought in her corporate greed factor and raped the users on ebay with high and distorted fees. She than put forth a plan to amazonize ebay and get rid of the small sellers that ebay was created by. She is the most disgusting woman on the face of the earth, I loathe her and all of her corporate ideals that are on course to ruin this great country. If she is elected in California, it will be the end for that state. She is no better than Madoff in screwing people for her own selfish goals. Look at ebaysucks.com to see the controlling and manipulating way she has guided ebay to lower their stock value so that they can buy it back from investors. I thought manipulating stock prices violates SEC and Federal laws. But than again look what happened to Madoff so far, arrested and staying in a luxury jail while he wait his court date. We need to get Meg and all of these corporate crooks and give them the rope!

Would be nice for someone who knows how to run a business run the state of California. Now if we can get rid of some of the tax and spend state congressman we would be in great shape. Don't hate on Mrs. Whitman afterall what experience did Arnold had? Married to a member of the Kennedy is not experience in my book.

Whether you like her or not is one thing, but to say "not skilled in economics" is arrogant. She ran one of the most successful companies in the world as well as receiving a degree in economics from a little school known as Princeton!

Don't like her, fine. Don't like republicans, fine. But for once, lets stop all the lies, name calling and scare speeches that politics have become over the past 4 elections!

On a side note, I am not a Rep. or Dem., but like to set facts straight, which enables me to not be a politician!

Meg Whitman is the classic example of a CEO who profited from business cycles more than her applied skills. Focus on what she left behind for an accurate picture. This is a strange, oddly conservative ex-CEO who has nowhere else to feed than the public trough. She's not skilled in government, economics, or policy. She's rich, but with whose money?

Meg Whitman and Mayor Bloomberg are causing me to choke on a held position on Republicans after I quit being a Republican. I thought that most of them were C type students and they had given up the principals of honor and integrity I thought the party stood for.

It would be interesting to me if I rejoined the Republican Party if Whitman and Bloomberg could lead the party to again adopt honor and integrity as well as attract some very bright people.
