Note that most of the negative posts about Franken are from right wing and Republican states. I find this factoid fascinating, because it means Al is doing his job; ticking off anal-retentive conservative types and keeping the MN people near and dear to his heart.

My dad, born in 1898 in England was a great admiror of Charles Chaplan whose movies we were not permitted to see during the 50ties as she had socialistic ideas!
Dad once said to me that he though commedians were probably amoung the smarted people in society gien their ability to see through human character!
I think that the leaders of all nations should have to be commedians! Just imagine if we could all laugh at each other, and at our selves, it would be far better than bombing and killing one and all!
So am I nuts or what? I just remember reading somewhere that "If you can make a person laugh, well, they can't stay mad at you!" We need more laughs in politics, and oh, another area where we really need some good ones, is in religions! We should be ready and willing to laugh at Jesus, Mohammed, and the "great" books!" Religions can be fun, if people whouldn't take them so seiously! Hey, we are humans! Let's reconize it and make the best of it! And it's obvious that God has a great sense of humor! I mean, he made us didn't he!

There are probably many good people in Minnesota who are now to be pitied to have this buffoon as a Senator. He has long ago sold out to Hollywood and their ilk of big money, extreme liberalism, and the savaging of American values and ideals.
Such a shame a carpebagger won in this state.
