Dean's 50-State Strategy for the Democrats

The party chairman's decision is paying off

Democratic insiders are giving much of the credit for the party's three high-profile victories in conservative congressional districts this year to Howard Dean, chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

Dean's decision to implement a 50-state strategy, invest staff and money across the country, and compete with the Republicans even in GOP strongholds now looks much smarter than it did a couple of years ago. "He was scorned inside Washington, but he was right," says a party veteran with close ties to the DNC.

Travis Childers's victory Tuesday in Mississippi's 1st District followed victories in special elections in Louisiana's 6th District and Illinois's 14th. The successes have stoked Democrats' confidence that they will make big gains in November.

"The Republican brand has become fundamentally flawed—it's been destroyed by George Bush," whose job-approval ratings are at historic lows, says the Democratic strategist.

May I suggest extreme use of the George W. Bush clip taken at a black-tie event for radio and television journalists in Washington DC in 2004. Even though the clip is four years old, it demonstrates very succinctly, the character of George W. Bush, and should be a reminder to all Americans of the poor quality of character and low intelligence of this man. The film clips were created to demonstrate the humorous moods of our "President". This clip featured him making light of the fact that the WMD were never found! It was the most insensitive, stupid, remarkably ignorant, despicable display I have ever heard a US President make! I don’t know if this man is just plain stupid or deranged or maybe a little of both!

I would like this clip to be aired everyday on national TV till the election is over! I would hope it would be sponsored by the private sector and public contributions. I would be the first to contribute to show the country "what" we have as our President and I would like them to know that a vote for McCain is a vote for the the likes of George W. Bush! After all, John McCain did state that he was proud of Bush and considered him a "dear friend".

I say if the shoe fits, wear it and pay the consequences!

I would like that clip to be played daily on children’s TV stations. I would like small children be required to ask their parents what the clip means and have parents explain it to them. I would like the DNC to run that clip in its TV 2008 campaign ads as a well placed shot to John McCains’s campaign ads. Finally, I would like that clip to be aired in Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama‘s campaign! This man has made numerous faux pas but this one shows the core of this man.

Thank You

Sincerely

Howard Dean is doing a great job. Keep up the great work! Barack Obama is going to win States that the Democrats don't usually win. States like Missouri, Colorado, Virginia, Montana, and even Alaska. The Democrats could win Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, and a couple of Southern States.

There is a Democrat revolution in our country. You war mongering Republicans and your hate filled and fascist-like political agenda are going to lose in November.

Will there be a military draft if McCain is elected President? McCain is no different then Bush in his beliefs on the economy and the war in Iraq. Trickle down economics does not work.

I don't want 100 more years of war in Iraq, 100 more years of record setting costs of gas and oil, and 100 more years of an economic recession. Barack Obama is the only candidate who can take our country away from the politics of fear and hate and in to a new era of hope and change.

VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA AND LETS GET A DEMOCRAT WIN IN NOVEMBER!
