Any White VP means a loss for McCain.
Obama will go with a white VP,
since blacks only acount for 12% of voters....
Sp anything less than McCain countering with a Black VP pick will mean a loss.
People don't really care about the issues...
this year is all about Black & White.
The issues are a just a cover this year.

Other problems could be listed, but the biggest one I see is Condi's ties to the oil companies and to George W. ... Yes, the American public, as a whole, does desire change. As much as I do like Condi, she may end up hurting McCain's chances, moreso than helping him.
So, what then is something - rather, someone - more viable for our Republican candidate of President of the United States?
Sarah Palin
She has been referred to as "Alaska's 'hottie' Governor." She currently holds the highest approval rating in the history of the state... always a good thing. She cannot not be linked to Bush administration. At 42, her age is favorable to offset McCain at nearly 30 years her senior. She and McCain compliment each other in may of their perspective viewpoints. Plus, she is less in the public eye than is Condi, which could help to put McCain farther in the forefront. Plus, being a woman with an untarnished image, Sarah Palin, is very likely to sway many women and other Hillary supporters away from Obama. There are many more points I could make, but with a little bit of research, on your part, I'm sure you could discover them for yourself.
As for Ms. Rice, if McCain is elected I see her retaining her current position. If he is not elected, run her for president in 4 years.
Bare in mind, this message is being written by a Hillary Democrat who would like just one more reason to help campaign against Obama.

Senator should definitely consider Rice for VP. Not because of race or gender but because we need leaders of that caliber: intelligent and experienced leaders with high moral standards and great integrity.
So I went to his website and told him so!
I hope all who are of like mind will do the same.

john mccain needs someone with national security and foreign affairs experience. condi fits the bill. if he were to choose her, it would send a message telling everyone what the republican party is really all about-competency no matter sex or race. she is balanced, fun and grounded in faith. tell john mccain not to be too old school in choosing his running mate.

She would be a great choice. America is in this mode of making history with this election that I think many would vote for Obama just to help make history. This way, whoever wins in November, it will be the start of a historic administration.

I believe Condi has the best qualifications and potential to help us (those who believe in individual freedom and continues to love this great nation of ours). Academically - she certainly qualifys, she has extended experiance in the government and international affairs, and she has tremendous respect from world leaders. Ronald Reagan's best partner was Margaret Thatcher. McCain's best partner will be Condi. She is though, intelligent, and most of all a true patriot. This lady can make far more money and have much more time for herself if she did not work for the government, but she has worked diligently in the past 8 years for the betterment of our country. My favorite Secretarys of State are Condi and George Schultze. Because, they truely love this country and dedicated themselves for us.

With the emerging negative campaigns that the democrats are running, some demographics will feel cheated and even prompted to support the other party after the democratic nominee is selected. If it is Obama, many white women that have longed for a woman president will feel robbed, similarly African-Americans will feel cheated if Obama, who has more votes, states, and money does not win. The republicans, strategically should place Condi as VP to ensure that these voters support someone on election day, rather that staying out of the process completely come November....just a suggestion for all you republicans

SHE WAS IN A POSITION OF BEING WARNED OF AN APPROACHING TRAGEDY (911), AND COMPLETELY IGNORING THE ALERT. AND BEING A BUSH CHEERLEADER IN THE RUN UP TO THE IRAQ WAR. Hey, the people who did not vote for Bush in 2000 or 2004 are not going to be voting for McCain anyway.
Now, with Condi on the ticket, the most important factor for 2008 is national security and foreign policy. Without it, we will not have economic security or a sense of safelty in our cities and towns.
It is easy to complain about the war, but without it, we go back to being sitting ducks waiting in our nation to get hit again. Condi helps to provide that strength for McCain.
