It may also change how people vote. For the last thirty years, easy credit has masked the decline in real income (adjusted for inflation) for working-class Americans. These Americans who voted in politicians who sent jobs overseas and enacted policies that caused the richest 1% to go from having 10% of the wealth to 50%. They will go back to voting their pocketbooks like they did from 1930-1970.

I am glad to see that someone else understands the importance of saving money. My husband is an instant gratification person...and I am going to be sure that he reads this article so that he understands that you don't have to have everything you want right now. You have a whole life time to aquire posessions. Why do so many people need so much all the time?
