Roadmaps

I am a new member and not a "boomer", instead from the era of "women on the edge" who grew up in the 50's.

It's uplifting for me to find another resource for women to share experiences. Initially I discovered mention of NYC TTN in resources listed in a book which led me to join weekend workshop,"Retirement or What Next" and more recently "Smart Women don't Retire........" thus finding that TTN has expanded many chapters! Needless to say, I am greatefully looking forward to participating as I look back to my 20's and the remarkable effect of Betty Friedan's coffee klatches.

Charlotte and The Transition Network

I really enjoyed reading the article. It is heartening to read about such productive and progressive women. And Charlotte seems to be a powerhouse! I wonder what path she might have taken had it not been for Set. 11, 2001. It renews my faith that evrything happens for a reason. And we do see good things triumph over the evil in this world. Congratulations!

Making A Difference

Many people talk about making a difference. Charlotte Frank DOES it!

It is wonderful to see creative ideas put into action. Congratulations to The Transition Network and all that have made it successful.

I never knew

Just read about you in the AARPNY newsletter. I'm about as far from "The City" as you can get; in rural WNY. I still work fulltime, but recently changed from NFP to academics. I vote in every election. I have coffee with other local women (mostly retired) 1-2 days a week who also take their voting responsibly seriously. Your website has re-sparked a fire. Thanks

A Road Map for Women in Retirement

As a new memeber of TTN, I was quite impressed with Ms. Frank's backgound. It is a pleasure to see how talented and motivated women like Ms. Frank and Ms. Millen are devoting their time, enthusiasm and skills in helping other women do the same.I was most inspired by the article and am looking forward to explore possibilities in finding my own road map and helping other women also find their road maps. Thank you.

To: Katherine Coleman

Hi Katherine - There is a link in the article that will take you to the Transition Network page where you can get information on the organization. Without an email address unfortunately we cannot contact you.

Timing is perfect!

This article was reprinted in The Republican-American that is published in Waterbury, CT. Each Tuesday they have a special section dedicated to women and their issues.

This is something I needed to know about at this time as I am at a cross-roads and need to get my act together.

The network sounds like a great resource!
