Thank God for this book. It was highly practical and should be considered a must-have for anyone who is ignorant of funeral planning, personal finances and wills.

Widows AND widowers are quoted and discussed, including Mark Colgan, and Michael Gorshon, founder of widownet.org, himself a widower.

Misleading Article Headline
As is typical of USN&WR (or as they purport to be) the headline is misleading - Why not present a balanced viewpoint that includes the challenges faced by men who lose their spouse? Or alternatively rename the article to "How Women Cope With Being Suddenly Single"? Sexism in the media clearly evident in this travesty of journalistic integrity - if there is any such concept, (or/and as interpreted by USN&WR).
After this misleading title, I hesitate to credit them with the publication's name. Serious change in editorical review is warranted, or perhaps USN&WR consciously wants to court female readers, at the expense of losing males. If so, they succeed with this article. Sayonara USN&WR.
