retirement savings

Based on history, Fuchs made the right decision. Her timing was great! I wish I had the foresight. Now every day I see a steady erosion in a lifetime of retirement savings and it's scaring the heck out of me. Does the old advice of maintaining SM positions still apply or is this the road to ruin?

Bank Failures

Every day we hear another story about yet another finanical writing off billions of subprime debt. Does anybody know how we can investigate the condition of our personal banks to see if we should make a change and not have to wait for the FDIC to take over and wait for our assets? Get out before everybody else wants to?
