FDIC Helps Who?

We had a HELOC with WaMu, WaMu failed and JP Morgan "bought" all of WaMu's assets for 2/3 rds of a cent on the dollar. They bought my 80k loan for 650$ Why could'nt I buy my loan? For that matter why can't we all buy our mortgages for the same price JP Morgan paid. I need a break before I go "postal"

Vote for change?

Yeah, Obama stands for change. Change in his pocket maybe. He is no

different than any of the others. He does what the big money tell him to.

Who do you think got him and all the others elected. Without their millions,

you wouldn't even know who Obama was. They talks tough and blame it on someone else

when nothing goes through. We need to collectively all stop paying our mortgages and

force them to act on our behalf. These guys will never do the right thing if

it's going to cost them money. Yes, I pay my mortgage and yes I qualified under

very tight restrictions. Why should I get my mortgage modified? Because the American

tax payer saved all these banks from going under. Billions in tarp funds were given to

these crooks. They owe us for giving them a second chance they don't deserve. We should

have let them all fail. Then the government would have had no choice but to modify

all these loans. The American tax payer has an 80% stake in Freddie and Fannie. They

should have no choice but to help all of us. Just remember all this next election. I

think it's time to say goodbye to both the Dems and the Republicans.

Modifications

It is not that you can not get modified you just have to know the qualifications. There is a company that has staff that has done consultations for people and they educate you on what is wrong with your situation and how to fix it. They will never tell you to be behind on your payments. The staff there has worked with many of the giant banks and know exactly what should be in your packetes and know what make you approvable. If you do not have a chance of getting approve they will tell you why and educate you on other options. They will even speak to your bank for upto 3 times on your behalf using the lenders terminolgy. I recommend you give them a call. I know a lot of people that used them. 1-800-308-2576

cannot pay mortgage

We have a small business and where we were living was also where we kept our equipment. One day the County tagged our gate and said we would have to move our equipment which consisted of a well drilling rig and a water truck. That we could not run a business from our home. So since our home and property were paid for we decided to look for property to park our equipment on which we did. We borrowed against our property and began to move our equipment that was in the September 2007. Then in October we had sink hole activity on our home property which took the home. We got the money from insurance company but could not rebuild on that property due to the sink hole and they only paid money for the home not other structures on the property. Any way we sent the whole check to the company for the loan we had taken out on the property which left us still owing money.

So then we went to the bank and ask if we could get enough to build on the property we just purchased for the equipment which they loaned it to us. I stopped drawing a paycheck march 2008 and was trying to pay my bills from the company account and keep the business from going under, while the economomy was getting worse daily. We struggled for a year trying to make these new mortgage payments and now we are behind and have decided to just let the bank have it. We see no way out. I think I may be losing my business also and I can't afford nothing.

i do not know all the legal aspects but I do know you can't get blood from a turnip and we still have to live and eat. What choice do we have all we have worked for is gone and we see no light at the end of the tunnel.

We have moved out and living with relatives the home is beautiful and very well kept we tried to sale it but with the economy no one is buying.

We are so afraid of what all this is going to do us after so much has happened already.

screwed by the system

I just like most of you are in that boat of trying to do a loan modification. We went with Veritus funding and they did nothing but steal our $4000 dollars. They took four months to do nothing for us. We lost trying to get our money back from them and on top of it we were told to get behind on our payments so the loan modification would work. Well we my sister and I let the payments go two months and we were hounded by calls and our mortgage co. to pay. We then tried to go thru our mortgage co. to do the loan mod. and they took all our info and three weeks later we called them and they said nope. They said give them till the end of Sept. to try something else for us but I doubt it at this point. I now have the worst credit score I've ever had and no one can get me out of this mortgage! I've heard coments like buy a home before the end of the year and you get $8000 what about my share of the money to keep me a float. Just because I bought a house two years ago and made my payments for the most part I'm screwed. I've done everything right and I get nothing and no help!
