For what it's worth

Just because a real estate agent recommends additional services does not mean a kickback or a referral fee is the motive of your agent.Services are such as Title and Mortgage companies are not allowed to give kickbacks or referral fees under RESPA to real estate agents or anyone else for that matter. How about trying to provide service and solid advice to the customer to use companies they can trust. Not all agents are on the "take" as some believe. A weak realtor

I used a real estate agent to help me buy a property and she was easily bullied by the seller's broker. I finally had to call the seller's broker myself and insist on some very basic things (e.g., getting the keys to the apt.)
