It's too bad we have to resort to "staging", as though buyers reject us and our properties for living real lives with real stuff. But they do. And staging works.
Causes me to wonder if maybe we ought to just unload a bunch of it permanently so that we too get to look at uncluttered beauty---not just our potential buyers to have that privilege.
Nah. I gotta go. Garage sales in neighborhood. Never know what I can add for cheap. (Not planning to sell the house anytime soon.)

Removing the La-Z-Boy Recliners
The writer apparently has not been in a La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries recently. Not only does La-Z-Boy make cushy recliners, but they craft an entire line of handsome wingback chairs, high-style stationary wood-accented chairs, gorgeous contemporary chairs and pub-style chairs. To assume all La-Z-Boy chairs are "cushy large-scaled recliners" is incorrect and shows the writer did not research his/her topic and based the assumptions on old information.
We own four La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries and we complete entire homes, including bedroom, dining, family and living room furniture from our many La-Z-Boy, Inc., owned companies including Hammary, Kincaid, American Drew. We offer entertainment centers, lamps, rugs, art, waterfalls, sculpture, silks and more.
And we have designers who can come to your home and stage it for sale. We do hundreds of these a year to great success. We also stage empty homes that builders cannot sell which increases their sellability tremendously. We did one home that hadn't sold empty for 2 years and sold 30 days after we furnished it . . . with hard and soft surfaces.
People need to pay attention that La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries are not the home of the large ugly recliner but a full-service design source used by owners of some of the most expensive homes in California.
