Buying a House With a Joint Owner

joint ownership

we are a 57 yr. old couple living together for 4 1/2 yrs.

I pay all utilities, groceries, all extras, fix up the house, paint, wash, do typical housewife stuff. he put a down pymt on the house when we bought it and its in his name only. He has 3 grown children. If anything happens to him, will his children get the house, or will I. I have no savings at all. we both work at the same place making pretty good money. What should I do?
