Nudge's Richard Thaler on Investing

Great advice, but a tad late.

Haven't we seen this kind of advice time and time again? Now that the market is literally at its knees begging for a bottom to hit, wouldn't it make more sense to not only rebalance your portfolio but increase contribution and investments?

I'm playing devil's advocate here because I run a successful money management firm that is currently beating the S&P 500 by over 60% YTD. No one wanted to invest with us when we were up over 50% last year, only because everyone else made a positive rate of return no matter where you parked your money. The tides have turned, and the party is over for most.
