1988 bronco

tom you sound nuts and judgemental. did you ever think thata maybe people have bad credit cause they lost a good paying job in this economy and can't pay some bills now? how can you judge someone from what they own? If you are driving anything nice or living anywhere nice you are most likely mortgaged to the hilt!

Bad credit

Wow. The fringe elements are out in force. Keep in mind that your attitude and beliefs are what got your side voted out of power in the first place. Americans are sensible people. Anyway, we move on...

Joanne, you may have to shop around. Figure out what you can afford and be firm with the dealer. If the dealer can't help you with a loan you can afford, then move on to the next dealer. Car dealerships tend to be more forgiving when it comes to credit. A lot of people establish credit through an auto loan and the dealers want to move the cars. It's your money. You are the one in control. Don't get stuck with a huge interest rate. And always remember to stick with what you can afford. Don't get talked in to spending money you can't come up with.

1988 ford bronco

Chances are, if you own a 1988 ford bronco II you live in a camper and move around allot. The reason you have bad credit is because you bought things you shouldn't have, spent more money that you didn't have because you are jellous of others. Bad credit means, you have been deceptive towards the people who have tried to help you in the past. I am sure if you have any children, they want nothing to do with you because you feel everyone owes you something. I would almost garauntee you have been making up lies your whole life about who you are and what horrible things have happened to you. The reason I no this, if you had treated people right all along, you wouldn't be driving a 1988 ford bronco II and living in a camper on someone elses land. You should be asking god for forgiveness for all the bad things you have done in your deceptive life.. I don't no you from adam, but your car says it all.

Gov't meddling in the marketplace?

Really I don't care what the Gov't thinks about my vehicle.

If I like what I own and its in pretty good shape I don't

need the Gov't telling me what to do. We've already provided

the stimulus money to keep the car companies afloat, let

the market determine what my trade-in is worth if I need

a new vehicle. The whole scheme resembles Germany's dictatorship

pre WWII. The peoples car (Volkswagon). No sir, don't tell

us what and how we will buy!

Light Duty Truck for SUV

I would like to Cash in my 95 Chevy K2500 for a more efficent SUV. The Toyota dealer said I can only Cash for Clunker the 95 Chevy for a like size pickup and not a more fuel efficient SUV. I have read most of info and I can not determine where it states the vehicle must be exchanged for a like sized new vehicle. Is the dealer correct?

OH BROTHER!!!!!!!!!! Here We Go Again.

The lack insight and out of touch mentality of these government types never siezes to amaze me. Here goes another govt program that contradict itself on just every level and turn, but yet again, buys more votes by the thousands from the kooky left wing kool aid drinkers that just don't get it (and don't buy new cars or pay taxes). Fist comment and ?? right off the bat. I have bad credit, POOR ME!! What about me??? Is anyone going to feel sorry for me and hand me more money???? That's because if you're driving a $20K gas guzzler, you don't qualify. If you're driving an 89 Bronco II, you can't get the financing. Anyone that has an older car that can afford a new one, isn't going to trade that car to get CRUSHED!! They own and drive that car because A: they really like it, or B: Detroit is STILL building garbage that honest, knowledgeable people don't want. This program can't run out of money because no one can use it. Conversely, all the elite congress people look like champions because the "care". Its CRAP.

MIleage Calculation

I have a 1995 Buick Regal. In the city it is rated at 17MPG, Highway 26MPG. Will it be eligible for the cas for clunkers program?
