Bad Economy

I have been thru 5 jobs & 2 layoffs in 2 years. Before you assume I am an isiot, the first was after 17 years. Then I took 2 other jobs to pay my bills but left them for better opportunities. After accepting a better position, I was laid off again 2 months later. 12 people were let go at that time. 2 months later I found a better job, and was there 10 months & again was laid off along with over 30 other people. I have done all I can to stay working & not sponge off of the governement. I live within my means, cook at home, rent $1 DVDs rather than going to a movie just to save money. I blame banks for giving huge loans to people who have bad credit, and I blame people who live above their means just to keep up with their friends & neighbors. How about some real hard work & honest living. No wonder our young people have no respect & integrity. Look what they are learning..Lets get back to basics & remember what lifeis really about.

2009 Recession means...

Recession means putting off marriage until the economy is back in order and your jobs are more secure. Recession means putting off a divorce and trying to work out the problems out together to keep the family strong. Recession means kids should put off moving out until they know that the economy is ready for you to sign that 1 year lease and loosing their jobs. Recession means not buying that house until you have the down payment and much more.

Like a family we need to get together as one to make the economy stronger. Think before oyu purchase and ask your self "Can I live without it?" "where was it made" "Do I need it or want it?"

Falsified Market Report Strategies

This economic downfall, while occuring in a logistic ideal due to credit being issued to those who couldn't repay the money borrowed, and defaulted, is also due to the possibility of the big hitters in the market falsifying documents stating losses far greater than those actually sustained as to allow the market to drop low enough for them to buy into massive shares, and then allow them to gain, lather rise..repeat. Hence the bouncing back and forth, almost weekly between massive gains and massive losses. If Obama wants to impress me, he should begin to thoroughly investigate the market's biggest players. We already witnessed the bust of one scam-artist just this past quarter. Lets dig some more out, stone them for treason, and use their earnings to give back to the people.

Also, I agree, this article is poorly written and constructed, like a high school newspaper article.

Divorce is not an optin! To surive this recession some of us are going to have to not get divorced. The only real security a working family has is to stay together. The expense of 2 households on 1 income is to great amd dangerous living. The benefits of working it out and staying together are insurance against layoffs of one or the other spouse.

Indeed children should consider delaying moving out to save money just in case they get layed off in this bad job market and ecomomy.

Low tax retirement places

Living beyond your means and buying that gas-guzzling SUV has not impressed anybody yet and will not in the future. The same goes for the house that is bigger

than what you need. LESS IS MORE AND MORE IS LESS. Just think about it, with too

many toys you will never have enough time to really enjoy any of them.
