Mendez, I dont think being a lawyer is the job for you. You have to understand what you are reading.

Response to Lilith Mendez

Uh duh...attorney is on the list, same thing as a lawyer.

Anonymous of ID @ Nov 13, 2009 13:21:50 PM

something that should be on here....

I believe that a lawyer should be on this list! I job shadowed a lawyer and he like, spent the whole time behind his desk! I always thought that the way lawyers were presented on tv - always on a case in court or whatever - was how real life lawyers were. But apparently, lawyers mostly research past cases. I happen to hate research, and realized that that is not the correct job for me.

way to go america!!

sassy,

couldn't agree with you more. the worst part is that all the morons that voted for that numb-skull will never admit it was a mistake. I'm not talking about the rich folk who voted for him. that made sense at least - they were voting in their own best interest - it wasnt in the best interest of the country but at least its logical to vote for someone that will protect your own interests. What I dont understand is the average blue collar chump who voted for him - kinda jobless now aren't you? Eight years of W was a total disaster. Don't get me wrong, people who work hard and make a lot of money deserve to be able to be wealthy if thats what they want. And we certainly need personal responsibility - we dont need a nation of drones who depend on the government for everything. I dont think his father was a terrible president. At least he was intelligent. Cheney was a very damaging president - oops I mean Bush : )

Medical Transcriptionists

There are so many schools out there, telling you that you will earn 40,000+ per year doing this. Don't believe it. All the on-site jobs have outsourced to private companies who have upped the standards of accuracy and performance and pay about 8 cents per line. You really have to work hard to keep up with your line counts and if you are lucky, you might just exceed them by some, which at most puts you to the equivalent of around $15-16 per hour and even less. There are so many rules you have to follow and keep track of, it's mind boggling. Off-site work-at-home jobs that sound glamorous are isolating and stressful. I don't recommend it.
