While you're doing all this, don't forget to vote for all the Democrats you can find. You're going to need Social Security and socialized medicine more than you ever thought you would.
Your health insurance dependent on the whim of a corporate employer is the greatest financial risk you face. You will either HAVE coverage without regard to your pre-existing conditions (and those of your family) or you will someday bitterly regret not getting this politically done in your country. A 10-day hospital stay and a surgery at retail is enough right now to bankrupt most people in America, very possibly you (but not 100-millionaire beer dealer, John and Cindy McCain.) THINK about it.
