teaching

I have worked with childdren age 6wks to 12yrs for the past 27 years in either a daycare or private school setting. For the past 6 years I have worked closely with a pre-k program in our school. I have noticed that several of these 4yr olds do not have the social skills, maturity level, or are dealing with some serious personal issues and are not ready for an all day structured environment. I would love to work with these children who are not ready for school in small groups and prepare them both socially and academically for kindergarten. Any suggestions on how to get started would be greatly appreciated.

Tutoring as a Means to Reducing Immigration by Mexicans

AFter years of living in the border of Arizona and Mexico, studying education full time, teaching in the public schools, and spending summers in Central Mexico, I came to the realization that the only way to reduce immigration is by providing alternatives in Mexico for employment. I am a volunteer tutor expanding the educational opportunities inside Mexico.

Now I am working on my PhD in Central Mexico and like the Mexican, cannot find employment. If anyone knows of online tutoring positions that are NOT scams, please email me.

Sincerely, Jacquie Mackenzie

English, Manners, Acceptable body language and speech in mixed company, Proper table and hygiene teachings, etc.

I would like to teach all of the above to young children. I KNOW from experience that learning the right way makes unlearning unnecessary! Having innate abilities to iniate and respond in all social or casual settings or situations gives one self assurance and esteem for life. This teaching is updated from the fifties and Emily Post. I love teaching and I enjoy all ages, however I am not sure how to present myself in the best possible light. I want to teach humility and compassion and the gifts of giving along with the above learning. I have been a bridge teacher and am very good, many of my students were teachers themselves. I do not have a college degree, but attended the University of Colorado for three semesters, Texas Tech for one semester and the University of Houston for one semester. I live in Kerrville, Texas and would enjoy teaching here. Any productive advice would be sincerely appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your kind attention.
