Green Mountain Brews Profits a Cup at a Time

Phenomenal Coffee!

About a year ago, I had completely given up on coffee. “Grocery store” brands seemed watery and tasteless. The price for a so-called “gourmet” cup seemed absurdly high.

Then a friend introduced me to the Keurig/Green Mountain system, and my favorite beverage re-entered my life. Their coffee is rich, delicious, and cost-effective. I did have some reservations about the non-recyclable petroleum-based K-Cup, but then learned that they offer a reusable version of the K-Cup, which is environmentally friendly. There is absolutely no waste of water or coffee with their system.

I was happy that you presented the behind-the-scenes look at Green Mountain ("Brewing Profits, a Cup at a Time", Nov. 17-24.) Until I read it, all I knew is that they offered delicious coffee, an incredible variety, and great customer service. Their commitment to the environment, to fair-trade, and to charity, has added even more flavor to the cup.
