The author is right on in his assessment. You have to be predictive and preventative not reactive. The Fed is way too reactive. It's like they can't review the history of the Fed and learn from the mistakes. It's almost like they are constantly trying to reinvent the Fed from the ground up and all the policies are foreign to them. Wake up...it can't be that hard to learn from the past.

Oil is going up because the dollar is weakening and oil prices are directly tied to the strength of the dollar. The dollar has lost 1/5th of its value against the Euro since this time last year. Think about it before posting such an illogical statement.

One World Government...yeah that's a great idea. We can't even get a president that can run our country (yes I voted for Bush). How in the world could we get one government to run the world? Let's see...Bush, McCain, Clinton, Obama, Putin, Castro...no good candidates yet. How much further should we look.

Alan Greenspan is a moron and Bernanke is just a younger version of Greenspan so this should make for a few interesting years.

The Fed

The fed must be abolished. The world would be a much better place to live if the fed didnt control the issuance of money in the US. The fed is run by a few greedy elitists who want control over the whole world and they have been working on it for longer than even my Dad has been alive and we are witnessing the final stages of it. One world government is on the agenda ladies and gentleman with concentration camps for those who dissent. God bless Amerika!
