All Wet

This article's premise is all wrong. Deflation is the concern, not inflation.

responsibility for the mortgage mess

those dudes and gals who made the decesions that led to the mortgage mess should be banned by law or courts from ever pursuing financial services employment.Three strikes are too much for our economy. They should flip burgers rather than banks, mortgages or derivatives.

oil prices

why'd you take my comments off?

Robert Peterson of MD @ May 01, 2008 07:31:28 AM

oil prices

the folks who make billions use that money to pay folks who "regulate" the billions.....not dissimiliar to "defense industrial complex" Ike talked about nor the "families" and the "judges/politicians" old movies talked about......or the cartels on the border.....

as has been quoted "all power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely"

lets just hope the powers that be don't screw up so badly that we won't even have gas at any cost to put in our leased vehicles before the leases expire....God Help Us all...

i'm really glad you all have had such deep and well thought out comments... regardless of this article, the fed isn't going anywhere. odds are good that it has a lot of beneficial affects that are not known the 99% of the world, just to throw that out.
