M & A in Solar Sector

I believe we will soon be seeing well positioned companies like First Solar acquiring smaller ones like Evergreen Solar to clear the pathway for their futures

Poor First Solar

Feb. 24, 2009-- First Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSLR) today announced it reduced its manufacturing cost for solar modules in the fourth quarter to 98 cents per watt, breaking the $1 per watt price barrier.

If first solar started listing 45 watt pannel's for $100 they would not be able to keep up with demand. If the listed just the cells for $2 a watt they would not be able to keep up with demand. I hope some solar cell company starts selling to the consumer because we are in need of them.

When one of these solar companies start selling to the puplic and not just energy providers they are going to cleanup.

Ask DELL were they make money? Selling to businesses or to the public?
