Unfreezing Credit

Has anyone considered incentivizing lending institutions to lend by offering them tax credits? Couldn't we tempt banks to lend by making it worth their while at tax time?

That Nobody guy sure is smart!

But he's never around when you really need him.

He also knows that the fixes may work after all.

That's why he is so smart--he hedges his bets.

Fairly simple, really

We print money now. Soon thereafter we either reap profits in the private sector AND TAX THEM TO PAY DOWN THE DEFICIT, or we don't. If we don't, then we have inflation for the money we printed.
