Its Time To Prepare For Unemployment

We all should know that unemployment isn't going to suddenly slow down. With the new taxes that will be put on small business and large alike, there will be many more job cuts in the next year or so. The one thing we can all do is prepare ourselves financially with an unemployment protection insurance. Visit www.TheSalaryGuard.com for more information on this very affordable and important protection for your family and your finances.

our economy

maybe if we limited our inports in this country....and manufactured certain items that we buy from other parts of the world...our economy will improve.

Lead ballon mentality

All people can see is the negatives right now. All Summer I reminded those that would listen that when I was in high school I had to stand in line for gas that went to more than a dollar a gallon in 1979. If you took that price and factored in inflation it would have been a lot worse than this year.

People can't seem to remember that what goes up eventually comes back down. The swifter the rise the harder the lead ballon falls. Especially when it went up based on false economic principals. It is not a truly free world market when foreign governments are the buyers, and then turn around and subsidize the price to their end users.

It is precisely those issues that have created our current world economic issues. Compounded by the lack of integrity and greed that our banking, government and investing titans allowed. The problems that are affecting the economy will be here for sometime to come. Fortunately what goes down will eventualy rise again. We must have these corrections to continue the cycles of profitability. Unfortunately there are those who will not rebound as well as others...........

You seem to have misunderstood him

When he says "it will happen eventually" he is not talking about surpassing 8% unemployment (although he probably does believe we will pass 8%). The "new heights" he is talking about refer to the economy. He is saying in 5 yrs the economy will be ok, but its not going to turn as soon as mid-year.

WHAT TO DO???

Who knows where this is all headed? It appears that layoffs will be a way of life for quite a while. Care to escape this craziness??? www.LikeSoup.com
