Why Wages Aren't Flexible

success story

I know a man who took Accenture's deal and spent the year setting up a hedge fund with a partner. After officially resigning at the end of the one year agreement, the fund was launched. It's up 260% in the past 5 years (including 2008)!

Thanks, Accenture.

I think this is probably true -- reminds me of price elasticity lectures in my economics classes in college. I think Accenture's move a few years back to offer employees a year off and 20% of their pay is an interesting study as well. Any info on how effective that technique was?
