BEST CITIES FOR JOBS

If you are an illegal person, you can quickly find a job in Houston! If you an American Citizen, it is quite a different story! The problem being the overwhelming number of Illegals who are hired by GREED FILLED contractors in the construction field and other business owners! Not only does the job market of Houston reflect an extreme influx of illegals, so does all of the SOCIAL SERVICES AGENCIES! Have you been watching who is first in line for the "Swine Flue Shot and the extremely large numbers?" Wake up America! Americans should be first hired and The Federal Government is obligated to follow the trail of our Tax Dollars and prosicute those who hire ILLEGALS!

Texas anyone?

I know scored of people in entertainment/music who've moved to Austin, TX in the past 3-4 years. Every single one has found enjoyable work and some have purchased a home.

Jobs4Creatives

I find this job board is great as all the jobs are purely for creatives - http://www.jobs4creatives.co.uk

Wow, I don't want to be mean but...

after reading the comments here and also reading the story about the 10 best cities to find a job, it appears Liz needs to do a little more research for her articles.

Architects-Look at the details

On the surface this looked interesting but if you look at the details this information is not truly accurate. Many of the "architectual" jobs are for system design-not structures. Many of them are "system architect" jobs. I think the data you are getting is not broken down enough for the purposes of this article.

spelling correction

Its spelled "Norfolk" not Norwalk thank you..... I lived there and enjoyed the fall colors, beautiful spring flowers and mild winters and the ocean and boardwalk at Virginia Beach!

Really?

According to the local aia chapters and other industry people Minneapolis has somewhere around 60% unemployment/underemployment for architects. If that is the best opportunity we've got then we're all screwed.
