Liz Lemon and Others: on Work

By Liz Wolgemuth

Here's a little break from the bailout/Big Three madness: The Boston Globe has a sweet slideshow of work-related movie and TV quotes. I am adding my own contribution from 30 Rock, a supremely good TV show about a TV show that is, really, all about work.

Here, an exchange between Liz Lemon (played by Tina Fey) and her boss, Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin):

Jack: I don't do these things just to drive you crazy, Lemon. I do them for the good of the show.
Liz: Well, I'm the one who always has to clean up the mess afterwards.
Jack: That's why my job is way better than yours.

And from Liz Lemon to the intern, Cerie:

Liz: [to Cerie] So, these page numbers, when done correctly, should be sequential.

Cerie isn't the intern

She's Liz's assistant.
