Clarification on affiliated party an tax increase

Actually, how a person is registered is not private. "Joe" is a registered Republican [see Toledo Blade, Oct 16th article]. He admitted that he liked Palin. Putting two and two together, he wasn't going to vote for Obama before meeting up with Obama and asking that infamous question.

Also, only about %3-4 of people make over $250,000 and the tax increase will only be the amount above $250,000. So, if you made $260,000 then you'd be taxed at the higher rate for the $10,000.

plain old Socialism you say?

Well, we now have lot's of plain old Socialism - Republican Socialism that is - not for United States citizens, but for corporations, especially for financial institutions that hid their bad assets from the public while Republican managed regulators looking the other way in favor of letting the market adjust itself. Well it has adjusted itself and now we have the Republican brand of Socialism. I think we are definately ready for a change, and that would not be another Republican.

The real story is the savging Joe has received

The real story is how a simple question by a REAL person has resulted in a firestorm from the left wing Obama camp Because Obama/Biden have been exposed!!~! and they want to bury the stupid comments of Obama!!! He is a radical socialist saying he wants to 'spread the wealth' and some have brought up BS to discredit him. I say go Joe go you just cracked open the obama plan for everyone to see the lies it contains about the 95% tax cuts and yhat it is more complcated that that as you hapoint out Liz. this the oct. surprise that obama did not want- No more coasting- McCains new attack ad is fact checked and anyone reading the references will know it's plain old Socialism that obama really wamts!!!!!!!!!

How Someone Registers & Votes

How you vote IS private, unless you tell the world.

How you REGISTER is public information.

Hu*ssein Obama?

Those allegations are ridiculous, how someone votes or is registered is private. Nice Try, Hu*ssein Obama supporters!

Take a deep breath!

It doesn't matter who asked the question. This is NOT about Joe. It's about you and me, about what kind of America we want, a peoples paradise where the hard workers who make this the most productive nation on earth are hobbled by government forcing them to "spread it around"?

Right now, the top 5% pay more than 60% of the income taxes and 50% don't pay any at all. So, the system is already tilted in favor of redistribution.

Increasing taxes on our most productive people will only result in one thing--less tax revenue. Smart people will find ways, including not working as hard, to minimize the bite.

Will doubling the capital gains tax increase tax revenues. No, the data shows that it will have the exact opposite effect. Just what we need in a time of financial uncertainty. Stop feeding Senator Government. He's already obese from feeding on our taxes!

Tax Cheats

Joe is so concerned about not paying taxes that:

JOE DOESN'T PAY HIS TAXES

Now when Joe doesn't pay his taxes, guess what?

I HAVE TO PAY MORE THAN MY FAIR SHARE

John McCain is counting on people to be either IGNORANT or STUPID. I think, mostly ignorant.

I am an attorney specializing in tax. I pay my taxes. I pay my taxes, very carefully, because you can be SURE I don't want my name listed on tax liens. Or the IRS coming after me. Or my state tax commission. Or even the sales tax board . . .

And McCain counting on IGNORANCE?

If JoethePlumber should buy a business, and should it (after all expenses including payroll) earn $280,000 a year, then maybe he'd pay 3% more on part of his income.

NOT a big deal.

Oh. And JoethePlumber owes a hospital. Another lien. Bet if his kid gets sick, he'd really like to be in the Federal medical insurance program!

Oh. And JoethePlumber hates Social Security. Guess he'd better find a nice bridge to live under when he gets old.
