Job Advice on an Airplane Flight

Back to blog

Do you fly often?

Nest question: What's "often" to you? :-)

1. Reminds me of John Houseman's character in "The Paper Chase", Professor Kingsfield. He tells his law-school students, "You come in here with a skull full of *mush*. And you leave thinking like a lawyer." (I loved that movie.)

3. Hm. I don't entirely agree with that one, because you won't always make each decision a good one, and it helps to have a general idea of what you're doing and where you're going with it.

4 is spot on. I know too many people who think being competitive is the answer. The problem is that it does work much of the time. A pity, that.
