Via The Real Estate Bloggers:

U-Haul International...released the results of the annual 2008 U-Haul National Migration Trend Report, titled "The 2008 Top 50 U.S. Destination Cities."

The ranking reflects destinations for movers traveling more than 50 miles, and considers every city in the country, regardless of size. However, the data is not stated as a percentage of population and is not reflective of overall growth.

The 2008 Top 50 U.S. Destination Cities Report was compiled from more than 1 million U-Haul truck transactions occurring between Jan.1 and Dec. 31, 2008.

Indicators of the top destination cities

The ranking of 50 destination cities is a very good initiative.

It's useful for decision-making of tourists, diaspora, prospective students, business professional, and so on.

The era of globalization, information, and knowledge of

repositories, factors&indicators of liveable cities of rankings

are intercorrelated to destination cities. I think the indicators should be released for all,ie., cultural diversity and intelligence(CQ)of people in the cities, statistics of

crime,terrorism,natural diasters, environmental&pollution,

number of botanical gardens, categories of museum, and various

edutainment, world class universities(WCUs), and outstanding- organizations,Etc. Ranking, ratings, and benchmarkings of indicators of

the cities should be accessed for all in the world. Thank you!
