Economic Bailout Tally

By Luke Mullins

Here's a nice chart laying out where all those bailout dollars have gone. (via The Big Picture.)

Chris Perry

You are just like Johnny One Note. All you do is post these 2 numbers on any article that has anything to do with the economy. I noticed you have quit trying to compute the percentage increase. Just like many other armchair quarterbacks, you don't offer any analysis, or more importantly, any alternatives. Your parroting of one statistic just illustrates that you have no understanding of the issues, nor who caused them, nor what should be done to fix them. The economic mess was created by many entities over many years. Even the top economists and analysts don't fully understand the intracacies of how we got here, nor why the previous administration didn't do anything to stop the avalanche several years ago. Now we have experts from both parties at all levels trying to stop the bleeding. Uneducated parroting of meaningless numbers from the bleacher seats is not going to help the cause.

Confirmation from the Congressional Budget Office

Yes indeed, 1.9 Trillion in just over 2 months from Obama.

564 Billion after GWB's 8 years. notice the B and T!

Oh yes, Obama hasn't solved anything and hasn't had 911, Katrina or IKE. God help us if we do.
