Bonus

Sen. C. Schumer Today the news reported that Wall Street is putting Millions of tax payer dollors away for bonuses. The POLITICANS approved this bail out and in my opinion are also responsible for the resession we are in.B. Franks ,C. Dobbs and you along with Mr. G.W.Bush knew long ago what was happening. DO NOT LET WALL STREET USE OUR MONEY FOR BONUSES Mr. Bush is leaving office and this could happsn to you

Schumer and King will both get it.....

Mr Schuner and Mr. King will both get it, when it comes their turn for reelection. I'm sick to death of hearing about how the only way to survive is to throw away $700 Billion on the greedy and let business run as usual.

Chuck has to go

I heard a while back that Chuck was real cozy with those on Wall Street and now I believe it. What ever happened to the third option which is nothing, Chuck is only concerned with how the government gives the money out, not if it should give it out in the first place. I understand that they put 25B in the defense bill just passed for the auto industry another lame sector of American business. How long were they going to wait until they started to produce energy efficient vehicles, but I digress.

Come November I personally will not vote for a single incumbent, we really need to wash out all the crap at the bottom of the tub and eventually we may even get some people in Washington that vote for their constituents instead of the well heeled lobbyist.

So Chuck when your re-election comes up I'll help you if you need it filling out the paperwork for unemployment insurance.

Chris Dodd, Chuck Schumer, and Barnie Frank

Chris Dodd, Chuck Schumer and Barnie Frank should be fired immediately they knew there was trouble brewing and did nothing about it. I also think all of the democrats who had a hand in this situation i.e. President Carter, President Clinton and Senator Obama should have to be held responsible as well. Financially if necessary.

Senator Schumer proposal for the $700B Bailout

Equity for the taxpayers, who are bearing all the risk in this financial mess created by Wall Street, must be part of this $700B bailout. We, the taxpayers, not only should bear the risks, but be entitled to a profit if this enterprise is successful. Let's play hardball with Wall Street. We have the upper hand here since they need the government's help to survive.

Bail Out

No way should we bail out the greedy Wall St. mortgage mongers. Why not put that $700 BILLION to use fixing our deteriorating infrastructure, developing better mass transit (rail), getting our education system back to world-class levels, or developing alternative (to oil) energy? All of this will create jobs in areas that will do more good for more people. To bail out Wall St. is to reinforce the idea that there are no bad consequences if enough greedy people act irresponsibly. The whole mortgage mess was inflicted by these unscrupulous people. Let them sink and put the money to better use elsewhere.

bail out wall street?

This is a republican stunt that bails out the federal reserve. they are calling in their markers for the private stockholders at the Fed. There is to much debt involved to give back any credit. what the heck why not leave us out and just raise the debt ceiling for the fourth or fifth time. by the way this was a way for the president to halt this years ago. No more increases to national debt.

Be careful what you wish for

Mr. Schumer, you might just get it--but now where you want it.
