Police Use Foreclosed Homes for Hooker Stings

By Luke Mullins

Sure, the housing crisis has been great for drug farmers and high school kids, but what about cops?

Well, turns out the boys in blue have found a way to benefit from the debacle as well. At least in one California community, where cops are using foreclosed homes to arrange prostitution stings.

CBS13 in Sacramento reports from Tracy, a town south of Stockton:

"Local authorities are now using foreclosed homes as a prostitution ploy in the central valley.

"Police say using a foreclosed home to set up a prostitution bust is nothing new, but they don't usually talk about it for fear of giving away their strategy. CBS13 went to one neighborhood where it's happening, and some people are not happy about it.

"I wouldn't want that around my neighborhood. I mean, that's not good for my kids," says Enrique Cardenas.

Enrique didn't know police used his neighbor's foreclosed home last night as a place for a prostitution sting....

Tracy police say foreclosed homes are a good place to conduct a successful sting....

Last night, four suspected prostitutes were either arrested or cited on prostitution charges.

You just dont know

You just dont know how the town of Tracy went from a nice little town on the boarder of the central vally to being over ran by gang members, hookers and drug dealers in a short time. The cops need to keep this up and focus on other towns like Manteca and Ripon !!! These towns still can be saved unlike Tracy. I would like to know where you guys live and if this was going on in your town would you like the cops to sit back and let it happen??

Cops are disgusting and should find another job.

Prostitution should be legalized in the U.S.A., these stings are a total waste of time.

Solution to the problem

Why doesnt everyone just get over the fact that this is the oldest profession in the world, your never going to get rid of it and why not just let the girls do what they do and leave them alone?

Use our hard earned tax dollars and go find the baby rapers and serial killers.

The way I look at it..at least they are making a living and not standing on a street with a sign "will work for food" or sponging off family or friends.
