Foreclosure

I really need someone to help me understand, why the government is so eager to help wealthy banks with their financial troubles, but not the average struggling tax paying citizen honorably battling for survival, whose money is used to save the banks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every word in your comments is so true. I can't add anything more to it.

Any surprise?

In the recent Presidential election, 8 of the 10 worst foreclosure states voted for Obama, only Georgia and Arizona went for McCain. Let's hope we all made the correct bet, but some things may be out of the control of any President after January 2009. The quickest way to stop the bleeding is to transfer titles to homes to a independent federal entity that will take the time to renegotiate the mortgages when all the actual owners are finally identified (thanks to slicing and dicing and selling the pieces off to various investors over the past decade). Meanwhile the owners become tenants until something can be worked out or the property is sold to a third party and the tenants are given 60 days to move elsewhere. Many people should never have owned homes and we have to get the entire housing market back to some equilibrium for the majority of owners not in financial distress. The bankruptcy laws also have to be changed to allow those courts to renegotiate mortgages. However, more job losses will add to the number of foreclosures over the next few years so this transfer/leaseback option may be the only rational means of maintaining stability for families, neighborhoods and communities for the next few years. We're all in together so we really have to drop all the grandstanding, finger-pointing, and self-righteous attitudes and see the big picture.

marketing

I had a business that failed in the late 90's . I recovered only to have bad credit again due to the banks not honoring credit protection,Ilearned to live without cellphones computers ,new cars, available vacations ,shopping. I became immune to marketing.I learned how to COMMUNICATE,RESPECT OTHERS<LISTEN<AND STOP BEING SELFISH. America will not see change unless it does this . WE need to take the focus off ourselves respect our country ,respect our sovereignty, respect elders, respect each other, respect women ,respect children and the sanctity of real values that are the core of each community and family structure. From these structures we all evolve. If we cannot restablish our own personal integrity ,How can we respect the credit structure, which needs to be refomed. Customer service needs to come home .We cannot be global if we are having teenagers having children with no responsibility because they feel defeated at the start. Wake up America a house is a home that can be anywhere not a possession that can be coveted ,our time here is short let our impact for good be enduring
