ProPublica has a neat chart showing the financial institutions that have announced preliminary approval for TARP funds so far. (via The Big Picture)

Melia Favorite - Mortgage Broker

Is this available in Florida for us to broker loans through a lender?

Who would we contact?

The Manatee County Coalition for Affordable Homes has hundreds of folks who can benefit from the program.

Wells Fargo

I wonder if TARP fund should help homeowners who are on the verge of foreclosure. WF service the note on our loan which is around $150,000 more than what the current market value of the property. I wonder if we should just give up the house altogether with the balance of the total note on the house.??? Any advice is much appreciated.

TARP and Banks

Along with all the other issues and complaints regarding banks receiving TARP funds and how they're spending it and providing outrageous compensation packages to the so-called leaders of these banks. Another big issue not mentioned to us common people paying for all this is the amount of discriminating layoffs going on in these big banks. Do the research and be amazed.
